They have a $5 meal deal where you get a drink, fries or chips, and a dessert (brownie or cupcake). There were some issues that would probably make me come back but for order ahead take out only. This location has always had ventilation issues and it seems to have only gotten worse. As soon as you step inside, you walk in to a building full of smoke from cooking, it's ok for a few minutes but made me nauseous while waiting for food. Stay too long and you smell like the place for the rest of the day. There didn't seem to be many people working so for 3 of us to order and take it to go took 40 minutes. On top of that, a young child that must have been one of the employees was wandering around unsupervised, grabbing customers, playfully biting them, rolling on the floor and licking the floor - nearly the whole time we waited for the food to come out. It was a lot and seemed to make a lot of people uncomfortable. It also made us question, since he came from behind the counter, if he had access to and was touching the food in the back. I completely understand that child care is expensive, but in this environment there needs to be some supervision. Again, food was great, service was slow but friendly, the environment just wasn't good at all.

Sweet Caroline's Bakery is a phenomenally managed Palm Harbor staple! Since his birthday happened to fall on Thanksgiving this year, I needed to locate a bakery that could conduct a sale within a day or two of the huge holiday. Sweet Caroline's staff picked up the phone, took my order for two cupcakes, processed the $9.00 payment, and ensured my cupcake order would be ready for pick up the day before Thanksgiving. A nearby family member picked up the order (and reported the bakery to be packed), and dutifully stored the German Chocolate cupcakes in the fridge until it was time for the birthday celebration.
