They cost more than their very similar, nearby sister establishment and the food can be gummy after a while of sitting. But it's a somewhat adequate selection and it's all you can eat... We went to eat the buffet. Ate one plate then went back for the crawfish. Went to put crawfish on our plate...big black dead cockroach crushed with his guts exposed & mixed in the crawfish. We told our waiter and I stood by the crawfish to make sure it was addressed. There was the buffet plate of crawfish and next to it was the buffet plate of chicken. The waiter.... took the spoon from the chicken plate and scooped the cockroach out with the chicken spoon took it to the trash in the drink station and dumped the cockroach in the trash then brought the same spoon back to the chicken plate! They never removed the chicken nor the crawfish. They continued to pretend as nothing happened. LITERALLY. My family and I got up to leave and demanded a manager. We have the understanding that restaurants sometimes have a pest problem. I'm okay with that as long as you keep your food safe and handle the problem. If you act this way in front of me I can only imagine what you are doing behind closed doors with my food. The manager was not on site. The lady at the front desk called him on the phone. The lady at the front desk repeatedly talked back and forth to the manager in Vietnamese. Both parties clearly spoke English. The manager pretty much called us a liar although it was two families standing there who witnessed it as well. We told him that the Health Dept needs to know and he said... Call Them! He offered to cut our bill in half and told us that he is aware that they have cockroaches and that he recently called pest control and the poison is making the roaches come out? Cockroaches do not crawl in boiling hot water or pots that are cooking. They are obviously crawling over the cooked food in the kitchen. If there is one cockroach... there is definitely more and the manager confirmed it. It's is not sanitary and customers should not be required to pay ANYTHING if they are inconvenienced by YOUR pest control problem. WE DEFINITELY WILL NOT EVER return to this Chinese buffet again in life! It's scary to see that your Health is not important at this restaurant. It is scary that they will pick a roach out of the buffet line with the very same unwashed spoon that you will use to serve yourself chicken and place it back like no one sees. It is is scary. Cooking at home is the best way to ensure healthy and clean foods this is true. Sometimes when you're tired it would be nice to be able to take your family to eat out to a clean restaurant, let me warn you... this is not it. One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Food was cold and greasy. Prices are very high for what you get. I would have been happier with a frozen meal. Total and complete waste of money. I told the owner that I felt the food was poor for what he was charging and he had no interest in making anything better. Try any restaurant but this one. This is my favorite Chinese buffet in the area. I enjoy it every time I go. I don't get there as often as I would like because it is located in Mid-County, instead of Beaumont. But I like to eat here when I go down south. read more

I happen to love this place. I know many people dislike it based on their sushi..but I don't go there for their sushi so I can't really say. But for about 10-12 bucks you can get a great, fresh meal and a hell of a dessert selection. Oh and the Cheese puffs are awesome. read more

i always end up craving chineese buffet .. i liike\love it.. the last time i went here though one of the workers stood at the end of my seat and just stood there watching tv . it kinda creeped me out , and a few other times one of the workers just stared at me while i was trying to eat and it made me uncomfortable. but my favorite thing to eat there is the cocunut shrimp, and the shooshi but i get the ones with he immitation crab ... its best to go when it hits dinnertime because they put fresh food out.. ive never had a problem with the taste of the food though .. i like it i like it alot .. hehe read more

Horrible food!! My husband and I went at 10pm and the food was COLD and the workers were putting the food away before we were finished eating. The manager said they cut the steam table off at 10 but they close at 11pm. I would not let my dogs eat from this place! If you want fresh food DO NOT go here. Ice cream machine was down before we got there and the desert bar was put away before we could finish our horrible meal. Needless to say we would of walked out but we didn't. Lesson learned. The service from the server was great, but the food tasted like it was reheated several time and then served, it all had a hard texture, and altogether hard to eat. The crabs use to be big, but now they are small. The soup had no taste and was watered down. In the case of the desserts you could tell that they just threw the new food on top of the old food then tossed it back out for people to eat, with a great difference in colors half of it was the right color then under that it was a dark brown. The atmosphere was great with good music and several TVs to watch and beautiful chandliers. The seats and restooms were covered in ductape but they were clean, it all seemed perfect with the exception that it seemed that they were segragating the rooms by race's (African Americans in the far room, Whites and Hispanics in the center room, and the Asians in a room off on there own by the door, any interracial couples were included in with the White and Hispanics) for what ever reason, and as time went by and i watch as they seated people, it was clear that the employees were purposely doing so and it was not by coincidence. read more
