Rude Person-receptionist. Called to ask two questions- which I kindly expressed at the beginning of my phone call. I wanted my son to be seen for a chipped tooth. I know my insurance and how it works. (Patient has to be on their roster prior too). Told me I was misleading with in my statements to her. Said I would have to call back to make an appointment after the 5th. (I'm literally on the phone with you). (REALLY!!!) Didn't even offer any appointments to me. Said they would be training people. ( What does that have to do with me requesting an appointment) As the conversation progressed I asked those two questions again. Told me that even if my insurance sent the request in I wouldn't be able to get an appointment till the end of January. ---- Please hire people who know how to listen and ask questions. I have tried for almost a month to be scheduled since having to find a new dentist that accepts Medicare. First the receptionist, quite rude from the get go and was clearly disgusted when I indicated that my dental coverage was HMO, said I need my insurance to fax proof of eligibility PLUS call to add me to their roster, which is done once a month of which I had already missed this month so couldn't get in until Sept. It's early July when I started everything, plus I have early stage of periodontal disease so time is critical for me to be seen. I'm only needing to find a new dentist in my list of in network providers because my current dental office doesn't accept my new plan. I just currently went on Medicare. So I called my dental plan, they got me added to this roster and special approval to be included on this month's roster. I called to make the appointment and was told they never received a fax of eligibility. Who faxes these days?? It's the 21st century people!! So I again called my insurance who generously contacted this Grand Dentistry and was very rudely told "she wasn't going to do that, she wasn't going to go out of her way" when asked her to reach out to my insurance provider for this information the dental office claims is needed to make me a patient of theirs. I laughed with the insurance representative as I had this same rude treatment from this dental office and was happy to hear it wasn't just me. This office receptionist just lost this dental office my business as a possible patient, who has always paid my bills on site and never missed an appointment. VERY POOR customer service and also obviously predudice toward HMO patients. As if I'm as fault of what plan I'm provided through Medicare. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

I am recently employed and will have dental coverage beginning April 1. I found Grand Dentistry from my soon to be dental insurance provider and called to make an appointment for the week of April 1. They would not allow me to make an appointment until I was insured. I asked if they accept non-insured patients, and she said yes, so I requested again to make an appointment and she still would not allow it. Ok, I will take my business elsewhere. read more

One of the friendliest groups I've worked with. Clean offices, bright and open environment, as well as Dentists who a re extremely good with kids. As for adult care - I was given great advice for periodondal work (sadly I was not hapy with this) but it was open and honest, and rather than misleading me and doing a simple cleaning - I was advised to take proactive measures to keep my teeth clean and healthy forever. I visited yesterday for some dental needs since I hadn't visited in 10+ years. I arrived early to get my paperwork in order and was seen earlier than my appointment time. The dental hygienist was very warm and polite and was quick to start my x-rays. I didn't have to wait very long before the wonderful Dr. Bob popped in to introduce himself and begin my cleaning. The two of them were very thorough and made notations on the future work I would need done. I was given my referral on the spot for more extensive work I needed done and I was also given a quote as to how much my future dental work would be. To sum up the visit, they were fantastic! Very poor customer service. I'm here to have work finished and have been sitting for more than 30 minutes due to poor scheduling by Dr Glassman. Can't go anywhere else because they need to finish what they start. This is the second time I have had to wait an excessive amount of time. Trust me there won't be a third time! Too many other dentists out there to be treated this way. They will charge me if I miss an appointment but tough luck for me if I have to wait for them....I'm asking for a $25 credit for having to wait -- bet I don't get it but I'm sure as hell gonna try read more

Absolutely horrible group of people working here. So very rude, unaccommodating, and have zero empathy. They do not know how to handle a patient with extreme anxiety in the dental office. The receptionist and Cohn should not be working with people/patients at all. First of all they will do nothing for you if you are in severe pain. They make no room for emergency visits. Only offer pain meds and refuse to fit you in with another dentist. Second, Cohn is totally unprofessional. I was having a filling done and explained to her that I typically take a little while before I numb well enough with topical anesthesia. She said ok, so I know she heard me. She applied the topical for a brief moment then tried giving me an injection of anesthesia. I immediately felt pain and reacted. She said "you can't react like that". Huh??? She was hurting me... I then repeated that I take a while to numb and she argued with me saying it's only topical and can only do so much. I then went on to explain I've had teeth pulled and know it takes a while to numb me properly... So she reapplied the topical and let it sit this time for a few minutes. Guess what, it actually numbed me properly! I should've just got up and walked out at that point, but I had been in really bad pain for 6+ weeks and was desperate. Then when she was done with the filling she just got up and left. Not one word to me. Again, huh? The dental assistant had to inform me she was finished with the filling. So I went out to the reception area and Cohn was there. Had I not asked any questions I believe she would've just walked away again without saying a word. At that point I had asked her about a much needed deep cleaning and her response to me was basically, you didn't handle the filling very well so you probably won't be able to handle a deep cleaning. Really? So I should skip the deep cleaning even though gum disease runs in my family and she said I needed it the first time she saw me prior to today's appointment.... So i have nothing bad to say about the dentist .. but the front office staff is horrible ... they do not make accomodations for ANYONE, not even a 7yr old kid!! i called to get a 5min. procedure done for my daughter, to pop out her baby tooth becuase the adult tooth has growen in already causing the baby tooth to go upwards in her gums, and pushing the other adult tooth over, making it croocked (sp?). I had asked her if we can just pop right in and have Dr. Basillo or ANY dentist just pop it out and she said no it will be a month wait!!! way to accomodate your patients on a simple easy procedure that wont take up more than 5 min. of your oh so busy day!! read more

We have seen Dr. Cohn several times and couldn't be more pleased. I am surprised by the comments about the staff and cleanliness. The office is clean and neat, and today I needed an emergency appointment and they politely put me into the schedule, first for an initial consult today, and also one for the next business day to see one of the endodontists. You can't get better service than that. The staff are all friendly and helpful. They also take several of the dental plans which offer reduced fees. read more

Good dentists, quick and thorough. Used Dr. Fred Biasiello. Professional and clean atmosphere, worked fine with my insurance MetLife. Have not tried other dentists. They will always try and get their money asking to do x-rays (your insurance should cover this but if it doesn't just tell them no-need). The dentist and his staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. I was recently asked why I continue to see this dentist when I can go somewhere closer to home. I simply responded that I have yet to meet a dentist as friendly and knowledgeable as Dr. Green. I often have a lot of questions when I go in for a visit and Dr. Green makes sure to answer all of my questions with thorough answers. He doesn't try to push products on me just to make a profit or get through the procedures as quick as he can. There is much to be said about dentists who practice the highest standards of professionalism and dental care, but even more for the dentist who takes the time to nourish patient-doctor relationships. read more

I'm giving them a 3 not on the basis of their actual dentistry, but because they have an office policy of not taking a DeltaCare patient until they get the list from Delta. I found that my dentist no longer takes my insurance (even though they've been texting me to make an appointment!), so I called Grand Dentistry. They said I would probably not make it on the list until August, and they won't even make an appointment until they have that list, that this is just "office policy." My old dentist had some way to verify rather than wait for some list to be sent to them. This office needs to come join us in the 21st century. Make sure you don't have something that needs to be done before 2 months from now if you call them and have DeltaCare. read more

The dentist I saw in this office was the worst. I went to the office to get my teeth cleaned. My appointment was at 11:40am. But I didn't get in until 12:40pm. I was told that there was an emergency. As I was called in, I didn't not see any patient came out. As a new patient, I bought in a copy of a recent x-ray. The doctor reviewed the x-xay, checked my teeth, took some notes, and cleaned my teeth. For all of those, it took exact 30 minutes. I walked out of the office at 1:10pm. Among the 30 minutes, only about 3 minutes was spent on cleaning my teeth. read more

They sent me a certified letter telling me to get another provider just because I inquired about getting payments to get a root canal & crown done which they sneakily wrote down they weren't even sure this can be done on this tooth. Then sneakily writes I left upset. Yeah, because I don't like being lied to & told two different things. TELL PATIENTS THE TRUTH OR GET OUT OF THE PRACTICE, PERIOD!!! I'm sorry but my teeth don't feel like they've been cleaned. Whenever I have gotten my teeth cleaned in the past they scale in between them and I get this great feeling when running my tongue across them. At this place it just felt like he polished them and that's it. They still feel slimy and he didn't even scale them at all. I called as a new patient in May and they couldn't get me in til September, strike 1. But I thought, maybe they're awesome and thats why they're so busy. Nope. They absolutely suck. I have a lot of crowding on my lower front teeth so there's always a lot of scaling that needs to be done. I was shocked when the dentist said that I didn't have much tartar build up. My teeth didn't feel clean at all. You know when you get your teeth cleaned and you can feel all the ridges between your teeth? Yeah I didn't feel that but I had to schedule a cavity filing so I just decided that he could take a look at it again. He didn't mention anything and neither did I because I trusted the dentist. A month later, I went to see my orthodontist (I'm getting braces to fix my crowded bottom teeth) and she was shocked to hear I had just gotten a cleaning. I let her know that I wasn't happy about it because they didn't feel clean to me. She commented and said that it didn't look like I had just gotten my teeth cleaned at all. That was the last straw for me. I had already called to talk to them about the situation two weeks after and their office manager called me back but I didn't return her call because I thought maybe I was being too hard on them. When my ortho's office told me this though I was furious. So i finally called back and spoke to the office manager, Karen. She was very rude to me asking why I didn't mention anything the first time (Um, because you guys are a dentist office and you specialize in teeth so I figured I could trust you, duh). She finally offered a free teeth cleaning (which is only the right thing to do anyway) but it would be at the end of next month! I told her that I needed it to be done sooner than that because I have to get my braces put on and they said that I couldn't get a teeth cleaning earlier than two weeks prior otherwise my braces won't adhere to my teeth as well. She started yelling at me about how she can't just kick someone who already has an appointment off the schedule to fit me in. IN NO WAY DID I EXPECT HER TO DO THAT! A cleaning doesn't take more than what 20 minutes? less even? Maybe I'm being too demanding but can't the dentist come in early one day or stay late? I mean I know its a lot to ask but I work at a vet clinic and we do that for our clients all the time!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN WE OBVIOUSLY FUCKED UP! Idk, if I were you, I just wouldn't go there. If they can't even take care of something as simple as a teeth cleaning then how can you trust them for anything else? She did finally say she would call me if any cancellations happenned but honestly I think she just wanted to get rid of me. I doubt she will even call me back or anything. I disagree. I think the offices aren't straight up offices but rather 1/2 wall partitions and that's a little odd but overall I think they are great! Seems clean to me. Dr. Shuba Anantha, DDS is fantastic! It's my 1st root canal and I can honestly say it wasn't bad! The staff has been kind and I have had no problems. Bottom line I would recommend Dr Shuba for sure and the office was not an issue for me either! read more

I am/was a new patient and had an emergency the office wouldn't accommodate my need in anyway couldn't call my insurance to validate that I was an active patient since they kept claiming I wasn't on the list. My insurance then faxed it and I called back to confirm and Karen and Brittney then told me that they don't except fax or email has to be in the mail. Terrible I was in pain paid for the month and wasn't able to use it. Bad experience and I haven't got a chance to visit the facility, then the insurance company tells me how they won't even make an appointment because the dentist office is short on staff and dentists, thats not my problem, its bull$h!t I was ready to go there and slap someone! read more

I do not recommend this office at all. When I first arrived for my appointment the woman at the desk told me they didn't have the correct insurance information and I hadn't been assigned to their office. I had arrived early for my appointment so I had time to call my insurance company. They said I had been assigned to that office and faxed over the paperwork. When I told the women at the front desk she got an attitude and said they haven't pulled April's list yet. That's why they didn't see me. It's April 5 but whatever, we got it all worked out. When I was called back for my appointment I was shocked to be able to see the other patients in their exam chairs. It's a big open room not even divided by curtains or anything. You can hear everything from the other exams going on. The dental hygienist gives me googles to put on which I don't do because I've never needed them before. Then I suddenly realize why she gave them to me. As she's cleaning my teeth she had the water gun full blast! It was spraying everywhere! And my teeth don't even feel like I received a cleaning!!
