Update 06/05/2026: What else can one add to this stellar review, right? How many more stars and/or awards can I add to this dentist's profile/description/review? And yet,.. here is one more star/medal/prize: I came to Dr. Cooper for consultation about my old failing/failed implants. He took an X-Ray, then did a CT scan, shared his findings with recommendations, and gave me a referral to the oral surgeon/implantologist. How much do they usually charge you for a consultation + X-Ray + CT scan? I know the answer, been there, done that, and your answer is wrong: Dr. Cooper charged me $0,.. Nothing! Can you believe that? I don't want people to print this review and show it to him, "You charged this guy $0, and I want the same price", but I just can't help yelling from the roof of the world's tallest tower, "This Doctor/Dentist must be from another planet where humanity, kindness, compassion, and decency still exists!" And, of course, his staff is always "top notch", and I suspect that the staff usually mimic the doctor, and I learned that in my long life spanning apx. 3 generations. Relocating up north from my childhood hometown, I decided to establish my next chapters of dental care at Excellence in Dentistry. It was difficult to leave my dentist of 20 plus years, but the commute was ridiculous and it took up a chunk of the day. Entering into this office, I was already impressed. I've been used to the small somewhat outdated dentist office with a small waiting room, with medical pictures and paintings on the wall. This dental office was nothing like that. The waiting room alone was an upgrade to my dental experience. With a good size room, comfortable chairs, and a lovely fish tank, it felt homey. Being escorted to the room I was going to be seen in, there's many rooms that this office has. The walls are decorated with photos that one of the dentists actually took himself upon his personal travels. The photos are actually quite good in my opinion. The technology they use in this office for taking x-rays of the mouth is efficient and less cumbersome. I'm used to the large arm that drops down with a cardboard tube, taped to the device that captures the images. In this office, the device is handheld and utilizes less radiation. It's quick and easy to maneuver around the patient's mouth. I was impressed. The cleaning and exam was wonderful. Very thorough and informative. The hygienist was pleasantly friendly, making the cleaning process enjoyable. She would let me know what she was going to do. I asked questions when I had them and she responded with enthusiasm. The dentist was also informative and friendly. He provided clear and understandable information about what's going on with my teeth. Unfortunately, I was told I had a cavity, which after 35 years, I finally got my first one. So, I was nervous. After they explained to me what was going to be done, I still felt nervous. After coming back a few days later to get a filling, the procedure was impressively painless. Although I felt like I was in a Saw move with the drills, it was impressive how both the dentist and his assistant navigated through the procedure. Didn't feel any pain or discomfort and was out of the office within 30 minutes or less. Putting my next chapters of dental care into the hands of Excellence in Dentistry has been a smart move thus far. I recommend giving them a try if considering changing dentists or looking for a new one. Clean, effective, educated and overall Excellent. My wife was the one who recommended me to them as she has been using them for her whole life. She has an outstanding relationship with her hygienist, Lydia, and similarly has nothing but good things to say about this dental office. read more

I've been a patient of this office for a few years and this place is a joke. Bordering on neglectful. They don't call you back or return online messages. They don't answer the phone. I had a dental emergency during business hours and had to go elsewhere because they could not be bothered to answer messages or the phones. I am owed a refund of a couple hundred dollars from two visits ago and can't get a manager or the owner to call me back. The owner is a joke and has no power/control after selling to corporate. This place has really turned into a dumpster fire. I've made my new dental office my dental home and will not be returning to this office. I will be contacting an attorney regarding my refund. read more

I honestly never had an experience like this I went in for a cleaning that should have been covered for my checkup according to my insurance but they did a more expensive one that wasn't covered and I was never told until it was time to pay. Then when I paid they overcharge me by a lot I didn't know I just paid it and now I'm still waiting for my money back it's been several months I have lost track of time I have to go back and look how far along it was maybe since 8 months I'm waiting for my money. I do not know where to begin.... I have never met a Dr. more compassionate then Dr. Cooper. He has treated my entire family including my 12 year old daughter with major anxiety disorder when other dentists wouldn't. Was not told Dr Cooper unavailable and a substitute dentist would be filling cavities. Substitute dentist did not allow enough time for numbing agent to work, even after being told pain was felt - proceeded to fill cavities. Most horrific dental experience ever. Have gone to Excellence in Dentistry for years, NOT going back. Never want to have pain discounted and suffer like that again. Substitute dentist and staff should have listened, allowed time for numbing agent to work and not dismissed repeated attempts to tell them pain was being felt. read more

There was a female dentist that cleaned my teeth and she would not stop asking questions during the cleaning which was very odd. Kind of impossible to talk with your mouth wide open! It was also strange that even though I was in a private room multiple technicians kept coming in and out repeatedly for supplies. Zero privacy and it made me uncomfortable. I moved into the area a few months ago and was looking for a good dentist. My neighbor recommended Dr. Patricia Eaton. I decided to give the place a try. I had 3 cavities filled along with a cleaning. The staff was very friendly. Candy, the office manager is really nice. The experience was better then expected. Dr. Eaton is very skilled and takes care with your mouth and teeth. The only negative is that they are out of network for insurance purposes. I carry Metlife dental insurance. So that means only about 50% of the bill is covered. Otherwise it would be 80%. I think Guardian Insurance is the same way. The cleaning and xrays were covered 100%. But overall, it was worth going. As pleasant as going to the dentist can be. read more

I had to take the time to do this! Dr. Cooper and his staff are the absolute best! All the equipment is top of the line, the rooms are clean and perfect. All the staff is friendly, comforting, and they all have a great sense of humor, as does Dr Cooper. They put me and my 5yr old grandchild at ease during all of our visits. Dr. Cooper made sure we were pain-free and comfortable. My grandson and I have never had any post visit problems, all of our recovery has been quick, with no complications. Dr Cooper is the best at dentistry, I would recommend him to everyone! I cant say that enough, he is the best! The staff is pretty awesome too! Dr. Cooper is the BEST! He is very understanding and helpful. He certainly goes the extra mile for his patients. Often times going above and beyond standard care. He make phone calls after hours and even on holiday's to check on his patients. If you have and issue he will listen to your concern and address and resolve issues immediately. His office is clean, newly remodeled, and very relaxing and welcoming. He has a large staff mostly females that are nice and professional. You will always see a smiling face while there. Dr. Lambarti (not sure of spelling) Is super friendly, gentle, and professional. I had to see her once when Dr. Cooper wasn't around.
