This location is on the corner of W. Seven Mile Rd and Burt Rd. There is an ample fenced in parking lot with entry from the back. Overflow parking is on the street. There is no smoking in this venue, however, there are outdoor accommodations in the back for smokers. This venue is promoted as 'The venue just for you'. This location is beautiful and perfect for any occasion worth a celebration. A mature crowd will love the ambiance of this event space. There are televisions throughout which are perfect for showing personal slide shows. Also, a large blue tooth speaker and a microphone are provided for use. This was perfect for playing a jazz playlist directly from my phone. Wi-Fi is on the house. I was able to assist my girlfriend in choosing this venue as a repast location to celebrate the life well lived of a loved one after his funeral. This was absolutely perfect with the linen table cloths, floral arrangements and caterer. There is a small kitchen area with counter space, a refrigerator, microwave, stove and sink. There is a stipulation of the rental that all trash must be removed and placed in the dumpster at the back of the parking lots. To assist with this several trash bags and receptacles are available throughout the venue. Thank you the venue owner for the sign of condolences to the family and friends. That was a nice touch. P.S. I also have attended their location on James Couzen for a 50th Birthday Party. That location is also Quite Nice!

There is plenty of free parking. The venue actually has a nice size foyer plus two different sized rooms on opposite sides of the foyer. The larger room is decorated beautifully with a ceiling canopy that is draped across the length of the room. The other room is a nice size but much smaller. The occasion for this day was the Annual Donate Life Creating Comfort Blanket Event. I believe this is the third year it has been held here at the Pearls. The table and chairs are spread out throughout both rooms for creating blankets.

We were very unsure about what all the catering process entailed, and he very patiently talked us through all of the steps. Our tasting at the Farmington Manor office was phenomenal!! The food was great, and they left us alone to decide what we really liked. Even when we liked a meat but decided against a certain sauce, he immediately went to the chef and got recommendations for other options we could pick. We decided on a wedding reception venue that allowed us to bring in decor and our own alcohol. Roy and his team were so helpful in setting up our linens, centerpieces, and of course an awesome bar. I took a picture of what I expected for the centerpieces, sent it to him via email, and all of them were recreated wonderfully. He even met us on site a couple weeks before the event to review our menu and table set-up. Seriously they went above and beyond in helping our event to be well-organized and well-decorated. The food was delicious!! Our guests raved about it after the event and no one went home hungry! Then, at the end of the night, they took care of ALL the clean up and even carefully packed up our centerpieces and alcohol for easy transport. I can't recommend Roy and his team highly enough!!! Although the facility was beautiful and spacious, the staff were less than friendly and the portions for the amount charged were terrible. Our youth attendees received chicken tenders and fries, it was 2 tenders and a handful of fries, approximately 10-12 fries. Our adults received a small chicken cutlet, half of a potato sliced, and for vegetables 5 string beans and two baby carrots. The vegetarian plate was one potato's quartered and a handful of veggies. To my dismay, when the owner was told about the dissatisfaction with the portion sizes, he was extremely rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. I would not recommend doing business with Farmington Hills Manor.

The set up and decor was fairly basic, but it was for a repast, and it did look nice. I will say that it didn't seem like things were on time. Set up was still happening at the beginning of the event, and one of my friends had to jump in and help for an hour and a half. This may not have anything to do with them, but the caterer was also late. The event started at 1, and people began eating around 3pm. After a long morning, the wait was a little long. Looking at their website, their pricing seems comparable to other companies I've worked with as far as their rental price and fees are concerned, but at that price point, I don't think anything should be late or that guests should have to jump in to help set up. I don't think I'd work with them on an event myself, I am sorry to say.
