Neighboring city owned courses are offering better value/conditions. 27 holes but no practice area outside of a small putting green. Tee boxes: inconsistent. Tons of divots, and many of the boxes are over crowned. Fairways: no known issues, pretty good shape. Bunkers- unplayable. Loose rocks mixed in with thin layer of sand. Drainage lines poke through the surface in several of the bunkers. Greens- mostly average condition, but are kept long. A lot of overgrowth areas on the West and South course. Expect heavy mosquito activity on the West course.

Overall, it didn't live up to what people used to expect from Park Place, and it's probably not a top choice right now.

When she returned with the beverages, she took our order, along with bringing us a plate of bread, hummus, that was so creamy and silky smooth and pickled cabbage with peppercorns. We ordered the combo for two, since it offered a variety of meats cooked in a few different ways, sauces and salad. The salad would definitely rival Olive Garden in the amount they bring you, but much more tomatoes. It was fresh and crispy. When the platter of food was delivered, it was a sight to see! Piled high with different meats, onions, and hidden beneath it all, the rice! It all tasted great! We ended up bringing most of it home. We definitely had our fill. And there was so much left over!
