Went here for a wedding and it was a great time! Upon entering the parking lot, there were two RCMP officers on their horses smiling at guests... Wow! I wondered who hired them. Then a few metres driving in, there was complimentary valet parking! What? Ok I'm so amazed already. When you enter the banquet hall's foyer itself, you will immediately notice a big fish tank, it was beautiful inside, high ceilings, staircase to the side and the other wedding was separated by a rope, which I think is great because I've been to weddings where I have to cross another party just to get to the restroom, so this is definitely a plus and ensures privacy. Inside the banquet hall room, I noticed the beautiful chandeliers and the carvings on the ceiling.. There were also smoke machines and lights attached to the ceiling, so I figured this must be standard and included in all their packages, which is amazing, a definite plus. Smoke machines and moving lights definitely add to the wow factor. When I went to the bar, the bartender immediately pours me the signature shot that the couple picked. I never had to wait for a drink, I was immediately attended to, or so it feels because every time you go to the bar, he offers you a shot. He was all smiles, so it was great service. I like the food, it was served buffet style. A variety of appetizers were served and my favourites were the chaat papri and hariyali tikka tawa. The entrees was just okay, nothing stood out and it tasted mild, which is understandable considering you cater to a wide variety of cultures at a wedding. Desserts were great and the gulab jamun was warm and delectable. The wait staff was aggressive though, they pounce on you to get rid of your half empty plate and half empty glass.

The place is huge! It looks like an Indian castle from far and is like a beautiful mansion when you walk into the lobby. The ceilings are huge and full for classic beautiful chandeliers giving it a magnificent look. As soon as you walk into a lobby you notice a big fish tank and then you realizes the lobby has beautiful marble floors and the stair case is beautifully round on each side. Their chair selection wasn't nice as you can't sit long term on it and your back starts hurting but I have noticed those chairs in quite a feel other venues. The chairs look nice but are uncomfortable to sit on. The Food was where they place lost a star as it was average and wasn't the best. I had multiple dishes as the weddings were buffet style food and some were good (not great) and some were just fillers. The staff was nice in giving out drinks and cleaning the table. The washroom were clean and designed nicely.

I attended a wedding here. A very nice venue. The service and decor were both good. I especially liked the chandeliers.

Attended a wedding here in late June for one of my gf's besties…read more The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with a quaint, outdoor terrace for ceremonies and a massive dining hall for receptions (adorned by double bars and washrooms on both ends. This wedding was quite big and although it was very spacious for the guests, admittedly, it was slightly hard seeing (and hearing) the bride and groom as they were on a raised center cove that was slightly walled off on the sides. The mics were also dying I think and needed the batteries changed out. Food-wise, it is a different story. 10 course chinese food dinner which you would think is pretty standard but it was actually quite hit or miss. I understand that portion control is typically a judgement call made by servers when they come around but our servers were quite inconsistent portioning out the food (at least at our table). I got 1 strand of jellyfish w/ my suckling pig. Multiple guests at our table also got uncooked e-fu noodles on their plate when the noodles came around (the noodles were literally crunchy still LOL). Fried rice was very bland. Crispy chicken was overcooked to smithereens. The guy sitting next to me had several shells and cartilage pieces in his soup that he had to pluck out haha. The rest were pretty good. So like I said, it hit or miss items. I found the bartenders on the left side of the venue to be far more professional and knowledgeable. Some of the bartenders working the bar on the right side of the venue were giving sass to a lot of guests (especially when they didn't know how to make simple drinks) which I was ok with but I could see a lot of guests didn't appreciate the added sass. For late night grub, the burgers were actually not bad! As a recommendation to the kitchen staff management (in case they're reading this), I know it's just late night grub, but if you gave the servers at the late night bar a grill to melt the cheese on the patties that would be awesome. They were there serving poutine and compiling the burger toppings anyways! Melted cheese on those late night sliders go a long way! TL;DR Amazing venue, food hit or miss. Would recommend for the venue alone (but perhaps explore w/ a diff cuisine or dinner vendor?)

Great venue for holding corporate gatherings and parties, weddings, gala, conferences, fundraising…read moreevents, etc. They have 2 bars, one at the reception and one inside the venue; both of high quality. I strongly recommend trying their Espresso Martinis. I attended a gala here and it was perfectly organized. The appetizers. Entrée and dessert were delicious and perfectly decorated.

We made a call, and it was the best decision we've ever made. There are two numbers to call, both are answered promptly. I was given a quote on the spot, and let me tell you it was a deal. From beginning to end, planning was made a breeze as Jey made everything so seamless. It is stressful trying to plan your big day but Jey made this an incredible experience for not only us but our guests and vendors as well. The options he has for decor, food, alcohol, in house lighting and speakers, table numbers, and so much more are endless. You won't even need to book additional decor (did I mention he has a floral arch and a piano?). Jey is a busy man, but he remains attentive to your needs and wants for your event. We were amazed at his willingness to help and adjust if there is something missing. His staff are also top tier and can handle a CROWD. (Especially the bartender that night, he held it down) On our event day, not only did Jey help the floor manager throughout the event, he was also monitoring the event ensuring that everything is going as planned and really going the extra mile to ensure that the guests are satisfied. Our guests very thoroughly enjoyed their food and desserts, beautifully set up by the team at Claireport. Thank you Jey for everything and we will come back to you for more anniversaries, birthdays or any other event we'd need your help with. You and your staff are amazing. You truly have an eye and your passion shows through your attentiveness and willingness to help ensure any event is as seamless as possible.

We had come here for Afternoon Tea on a Friday at 12:00 pm for two people; it was $24.00 plus tax,…read moreper person. We each received our own pot of tea, which included unlimited loose leaf tea. Included in the meal were tea sandwiches, a variety of scones, and desserts. We loved all of the food items that were available for us to eat! The tea sandwiches were very fresh, with egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, and turkey available. We were impressed with the presentation, along with the deliciousness of each piece. In regards to the scones, we were given a few different varieties, all of which were tasty, and fresh. I loved the cheese scone, along with the blueberry scone. The jam and cream on the side was the perfect touch to each scone, adding that 'wow' factor to each bite! We loved how soft the scones were, a definite plus when eating something that delicious. The desserts were all homemade, and quite immaculate; butter tarts, cookies, and brownies; very tasty! All of the food items were well-prepared, presented, and excellent! We were told that every item we had tried that day was homemade, which was a definite plus; we could tell that a lot of hard work was put into each food item that was prepared for us! In terms of the décor, we loved how simple, yet elegant, all of the items in the shop were. There were a lot of different items that I had never seen before, such as the stacked books with the words on the side, very creative! Customer service was top-notch; Maria was pleasant and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome during our entire stay at the café. I would highly-recommend the Afternoon Tea at this café; you will definitely get your money's worth, everything was top-notch, one of the best that I've ever been to!
