Absolutely love our stay here during our honeymoon. The staff were more than accommodating towards us and all of them spoke perfect English. It is a boutique hotel, but it's a very nice space considering how small some of the hotel rooms are in Paris. We were also able to stay in the panoramic room, and that experience just can't be beat. It's a huge room with 3 doors that you can open and go on the balcony. We had our last meal on the balcony and it was the perfect ending to our trip.

Great stay for 2 nights. Got an excellent rate for a larger than average room. Included access to the basement spa, which was superb. They have a hydro massage table and a perfect little hammam. The staff were so kind and helpful. It was very clean and the bed was big and comfortable. Good sized bathtub. Quiet and chill. Stocked with nice products, robes, slippers and plenty of coffee pods. Incredibly convenient to get around and I love this part of Paris, Sorbonne adjacent. Would stay again - anytime!

This is a solid 4 star hotel. As I elaborate below, they pay attention to details to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is also excellent. LOCATION A number of famous sites are within easy walking distance. The Luxembourg garden is about 5 minutes away; The Sorbonne is on the next block; Notre-Dame is about 15 minutes away. In addition, it is only a block away from Boulevard Saint-Michel, where you can find many restaurants and shops. GUEST ROOM The room I stayed in was not large (by American standard) but large enough to feel comfortable. Both the sleeping area and the bathroom were renovated and clean. The bathtub was very clean, and I actually took a bath in it (TMI). The view from the room was stunning. The Sorbonne was right there on the next block! Also, they have provided everything you can think of to make your stay comfortable in your room: fridge, bathrobes, tooth brushes, all kinds of toiletries, etc. DETAILS I just loved their attention to details. All of their toiletries are made by Hermes. They have installed a universal plug adapter on one of the outlets. The shower head has multiple settings. BREAKFAST Upon checking in, I was surprised to find out that breakfast was included. As you can see in my photos, they serve a very nice breakfast buffet. I still cannot believe it was only 180 euro for all of this. I know for sure I will stay here when I go back to Paris next time. ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful." If you're going to Paris, stay here! Their staff was so very accommodating and they were all so wonderful! The hotel was clean, comfortable and adorable. The breakfast was very nice and fresh. The hamam (steam spa) is free to guests by just reserving it, which is lovely after a day of walking around the city. I lost a necklace that was very important to me in the hotel. The staff found it and returned it to me, which was over and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. They're very good people! Again, if you're ever in Paris, stay here!

Probably one of the most modern hotels we stayed at while in Pairs. They do not cut corners when it comes to luxury and making you feel welcome. We stored our bags here before and after our check-in times. They also have tea and ice water in their nice lobby waiting for you. The rooms were small but very beautiful and upscale with Hermès toiletries. The views were INCREDIBLE! And if you're looking at this hotel because of the location - it is ALL about the location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go in 30 minutes or less. Most things were only a 5-10 minute walk. The neighborhood has more of a local feel and is wayyyyy less touristy than others which was really what sold us. Highly recommend!

This is a lovely hotel in Latin Quarter. It is a 5 minute walk away from the Pantheon and a 2 minute away from Le Jardin du Luxembourg. It's a 15 minute walk to the Notre Dame cathedral. I was here for three nights. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Space is limited but what else was to be expected from a major city? I also loved the red and black design and my potted window flowers that matched. There was a converter in the room for dummies like me who only had US chargers. Free decent speed WiFi available. There was complimentary tea time in the afternoon with cookies and tea in the lobby. I had great customer service and the staff that checked me in addressed me by name every day as I came and went. Fantastic place to stay.

I recently attended a Summit at the Sorbonne, and extended my stay so I could see a little of Paris. This charming and immaculate boutique hotel is perfectly situated in walking distance of the Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Metro. We walked to Notre Dame, the Louvre, Le Marais, and other sites - very pleasant walks, nothing grueling. Loads of cafés, restaurants and shopping nearby. The Hotel itself is modern, chic, and spotless. It looks exactly as it is portrayed onthe website! They provide a wonderful daily breakfast (a real breakfast with pancakes (mini), eggs, ham, sausages, breads, rolls, fresh fruit, muesli, nuts, coffee/tea/juices, etc.) The layout of the rooms maximizes the space. The rooms have robes with slippers and lots of amenities (toothbrushes, lotions, power converters, etc.) As noted by other reviewers, the staff provides a complimentary afternoon tea as well. The Hotel staff is what really moves this hotel into the "excellent" category. They really do work hard to make your stay a terrific experience. They are friendly, very helpful (from giving directions & recommending restaurants, providing change, getting stamps and mailing letters, to getting us into a last minute day tour, and even letting us use the microwave on a couple of the long days when we were too tired to eat out.) They also spoke fluent Spanish! Kudos to Marie, Lidia, Charlotte (apologies if I don't have your name correct), Silvio, and the rest of the staff. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. The windows were able to open to the other building however you could have coffee by the window and the room was incredibly private. The blackout curtains were a game changer too! I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. The location is awesome, there are many places to eat and shop (must go vintage shopping while in the area as well).

We had a double room with a small balcony that faced the street. It was perfect in every way. The employees were so kind and helpful and spoke beautiful English to our sad French (but we tried!). We did 4 days in Paris and 4 days in the Loire Valley, returning to Paris for our last night. After staying here during the first part of our trip, I cancelled our 2nd Paris hotel and rebooked this one for our last night. It was that perfect. We can't wait to return and without question we will stay here again. Many thanks to the staff at Hotel Caron de Beaumarchais for making our stay so lovely.

After a lot of researching and back and forth I selected Hotel Diana for my 4 night stay in Paris…read more I booked directly through their website which was super easy. I selected the queen size bed room - my close friend selected the full size bed room. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick. Fortunately the lift /elevator was working as we had a lot of luggage it all fit as well as myself . The room was small and basic, which I expected being in downtown Paris. The bathroom was simple with a bathtub shower combo. The bed was comfortable and there was a working a/c however it didn't really get the room super cold but kept it comfortable for summer. Fortunately the heat wave was over by the time we arrived. Tne bathroom did get very warm if you were styling your hair or doing your makeup. I would suggest bringing a small portable fan with you if coming in tne summer . The location is the selling point of this hotel. Walking distance to so many cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Sienne River. Felt perfectly safe walking around day or night even solo. Usually there were young men working the front desk. They were always polite however I wish they were able to provide a little more suggestions where to go or how to get around for a first time visitor. Great budget hotel in the 5th.

The room that we had was relatively spacious, with a double bed and some room to move around. The mattress was very comfortable and linens were perfectly clean (no gross bed covering that you typically find in hotels). There was also a relatively spacious bathroom with a nice bath tub (a good find in Paris). The room had quiet, perfectly-working AC and the Wifi was free. There was also a safe in the room. We were basically on a roll. The room also had double windows, which eliminated the noise from the adjacent street (this was amazing). The location is also quite nice. It's in the Latin quarter, walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. Metro access is easy as well, in fact it is on a direct RER B line from CDG airport (station St.Michele) Plus, I haven't even gotten to the best part, which was the breakfast. It was 8 euros, and there was a plentiful selection of breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, and cereals. All was super tasty. Plus the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, brought out in small cute pitchers so you could have a nice servicing. We went all around France during our trip and I still remember the drinks there. Yummy. Overall, the price was right, the location was good, and the rooms were great. I would recommend it to anyone.

Heated mirror in the restroom and the HVAC was good. Comfortable bed. Service was friendly - excellent welcome by Floridita (I may have her name wrong) but she gave us a tour of the important areas of the hotel when we arrived and consistently greeted us every day when she saw us. Maid service and turn down services were also friendly as were the bellmen. Only negatives: our room faced the direction of the Louvre and on Friday night there were street performers singing until close to 1am. Wasn't a problem on the other nights. Also, Brasserie du Louvre, the fancy restaurant in the hotel, was a disappointment. Overall though we would stay there again next trip.

Our bedroom was spacious, the bed nice and perfectly made, the bathroom was also beautifully decorated, and comfortable with good products. We stayed a week, the room rates are steep, but for the lovely rooms, amenities and location it receives 3 full marks, the 4th star was the service team at L'officine that single-handedly made me reconsider and ultimately saved them from a lower " grade ". We had an unfortunate incident with the concierge service, whose staff member was not interested in giving us specific instructions. They were dismissive of my husband (who doesn't speak French) when he asked for directions to the bank for foreign exchange. I had to return to the hotel and speak to her directly in French to get results. We were, for the most part, impressed by the friendliness and hospitality of the staff at their bar, as I mentioned above they were the reason I found all their front of the house redeeming qualities I'm not sure if I will stay here or try a different hotel- jury is out. For certain, I'll go back to their lovely bar.
