Yum! We loved this restaurant! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. My partner got the. Chicken Mofongo under the "Italian style" part of the menu. It was basically grilled white meat chicken and spices, with broth, over mashed plantains. So delicious and filling. I ordered the filete de mero (grouper) that came with french fries and canned vegetables. The fish was really big and tasty, the sides were not so good, so honestly get the mofongo! I also ordered the thing and crispy plantain chips for $1 (yes, a dollar!!) so you must order those. Bread and a small salad are also served. The ambiance! We came at night and sat outside - it had just rained and the coqui frogs were singing. It was such a relaxing vibe and apparently a beautiful view in the daytime. I had the mofongo napolitano (Italiano) with churrasco. Never had it before. Did not enjoy it. Located on a hilltop, it has a nice view and rustic feel. read more

Everyone was super polite and friendly..we were greeting with smiles. Great family atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent. The place very authentic. Restaurant is off the beaten path and is in a beautiful location. Feels like your in a treehouse. Food is excellent and service is beyond approach. Worst service experience ever. Waiting 2 hours for food, and the food arrived COLD. Complained about the service and were told "are we good." No "I'm sorry for the delay." We were recommended to come here from several family members. To enter at 7pm and get our food, cold, at 9pm is unacceptable. The server brought us drinks when we walked in and never came back to our table. We had to ask for our food, they then brought it out 20 mins later, cold. What were they doing for 2 hrs! I don't think they wanted to serve us because we aren't locals. No I don't recommend this place, AT ALL. read more

While visiting Isabela , the family decided to have dinner here. First, the waiter didn't know English so we had a bit of issues trying to order the correct meal. I tried a random used "Mute" point and pray technique which did bring some questions from my waiter. After working my way through it, the food took awhile which wasn't to much of an issue for us besides the bombardment by the 101st aerial attack from the mosquito Air Force so make sure to bring bug repellent since it is outdoors. Once we got our food, our daughter did receive the wrong meal so she had to wait another 20 mins while they fixed it which still came out fried vice grilled (let's not get started on her sides). She worked past it but plz make sure they read back your order because there was clearly a breakdown when ordering. The food was decently priced and overall I would give it a "medium" grade. I've driven by this restaurant several times on my way to visit my wife's relatives and wanted to stop in. It's usually crowded on weekends. Weekdays there's a significant amount of customers also. I reside in NY and come by the area from time to time so I'm not totally familiar with restaurants in the area. However this location was good. The waiting staff service was average and the food was good. The music playing was Salsa and Bachata. I ordered the chicken breast Mofongo. They gave me a small salad and garlic bread with the order. The food tasted fresh and good. I found the portions were below average or a bit small compared to other Puerto Rican, and Dominican restaurants in NYC. The ambiance in the restaurant was also good. All in all I received decent service and food. I wouldn't say that the food and service I received were in any form way above average. If one reads past reviews one might think this location is 5 stars. I thought it was average. I will come by again and try a different dish next time to see if the portions and doors are better. read more

Im close to 50 years Old I have traveled all over Puerto Rico, this is by far the Best Place I have ever visited in the Island. Gorgeous Restaurant, the setup is an open view to the landscape of the City of Aguada. The service is Second to none. Excellent service from Marita Our Server, she constantly was making sure we had everything we needed. I will be coming back again with more friends. I recommend their Passion Fruit Sangria and also the almond custard dessert. read more

As a dining experience, the Grand Marnier is definitely worth the drive up the mountain to enjoy. We were a group of five and we were seated immediately. The service was very good with the staff being very attentive to the needs of all members of the group. We ordered the large sampler which was very large and accommodated all five of us with no problem. I personally ordered the Italian mofongo with skirt steak (churrasco) which I found to be delicious and very filling. Overall I found the experience to be an excellent one. My only complaint was the taste of the tap water which was generally unpleasant. Note: we were not able to enjoy the view as we went at night. Overall a great experience. All members of our group found their food to be good and the only complaint I heard from one of my dining mates is that the vegetables that came with her mofongo with shrimp seemed to come from a can. read more

The food was good. The sampler was good, we had the big one and it was enough for 5 people. All of the appetizers in the sampler were very good. At first I was a bit skeptical about the mofongo Italiano but it was great, perfectly seasoned and it went great with the cheese. One of the best mofongo I've had. One of the best mofongos in PR! Plus the view is amazing! I tried their signature italian mofongo and it was delicious. My husband had the original mofongo and I like that one better. My daughters got the chicken chicharon with rice and beans and those were yummy too. I would have stay for coffee and dessert if it wasn't I was so full of the delicious food.
