This is pretty much your average big wine and liquor shop. Like the other shops in the Grand Wine & Spirits chain, the vast majority of what you find here is wine that you can buy pretty much anywhere. However, like the other branch I've been to, there are some gems to be found. There is a small area of higher end selections and they do have sales on this. I was able to get a bottle of 2008 Dom Perignon and a bottle of Caymus on sale, as well as a bottle of Opus One (not on sale, but still delicious). If you want every day wine, you can find it here. MAKE SURE EVERYONE WHO WALKS INTO THIS STORE WITH YOU IS 21+ AND HAS THEIR ID. While in the area, I stopped by to pick up a bottle of wine. My daughter who came inside the store with me, was asked for her ID even though I had shopped for the wine and I was the purchaser. I didn't see the notice on their front door that advices customers of ID requirement for all who enter. I just found it to be more of a hassle for clients on a quick wine run. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I entered the store being 23 years old and provided a valid license to the owner. He refused to serve me and My friends who are 24 years old because he did not believe my ID was real, as the photo was dark. I've had this issue in the past and have had a cop come verify my ID at other establishments. I politely offered to do just that after still being denied post producing a second school ID and a photo of my passport (which I had lost), both of which corroborate my age. The owner became irritable and said he would still not serve me even if a cop verified that I was above 21 years old. He could not provide a reason for refusing a service and came off extremely unprofessional. My friends mother had sent us to get a keg for her son's graduation party, and they refused everyone in my party over this issue. She was very disappointed when we came back empty handed. Horrible look for this place - us and anyone we know will never buy alcohol from any of these stores again read more

If you don't wear a mask, they won't serve you. Regardless if you have a health condition or not. Lamont's EO 7BB issued April 20, 2020, specifically states a mask is only required if a distance of 6 feet cannot be maintained. It further states that a mask is not required if a health condition prevents it. No explanation is required regarding health conditions. See EO attached. I've been shopping here since they have opened. It's an easy stop on my way home and they have everything. Recently around the holidays I've been buying Sobieski Vodka from other stores since the boxes where coming with a nice flask as a free gift with a 1/2 gallone purchase. It was a nice little extra to give away to friends. I was always curious why this place wasn't getting those same gift packaging in. I found my answer when I stopped the other day. They are selling them at the register for $1.99. Well I hope you make a lot of money from removing them from the boxes I could have been buying and then selling them because I will not be back. It's not that I needed another flask to just give away anyways it's more about your credibility I question. read more

I must be in a "club" to purchase Lawson's Sip of Sunshine!!! I was asked to put the beer back. There was at least six cases!!! I will never go back. I will continue to shop at Mystic Wine Cellar where I can at least trust my "purple haired friend" to do right by ALL customers. Bad business my friends. read more

HUGE store, everything your looking for. A Nice selection of CRAFT BEERs and also has a CHEESE SHOP with CIGARS as soon as you walk in. Great customer service usually with a employee asking if you need help as soon as you walk in the door plus there is usually someone giving out wine or beer tasting too. I thought they had the best prices in the area... I bought a bottle of wine that was on special, or so I thought that was what the tag said. The wine rang up $2 more than the price on the tag. I said that I thought it was on special and the assistant manager was sent back to check the tag. She came back and said the price that rang up was correct. I was told "It must have been for the chardonnay" by the guy at the register. At the same time a couple was asking why they were charged for 2 bottles of wine when the special was buy 1 get 1 free? I went in the following week to buy the same wine, the special sign was still up. I went up to the register and asked for a price check. It rang up at the more expensive price. I said the sign said it was on special. The same ass. manager went back to check the tag and said the promotion was over and the sign should have come down. This store has no integrity and employs bait and switch tactics. I highly recommend A & P Warehouse Liquors in the Waterford shopping plaza as a store not only with integrity but with great prices. read more

I go here all the time even though it is completely across town from my house. They have one of the biggest selections of anything that you could ever ask for. I especially appreciate their local beer and micro brew selections in the coolers. The coolers a very cold and that is always a plus. They also have a great variety of spirits and wines. I appreciate the HUGE variety of Whiskeys as well. The staff is always nice and helpful and the store is beautiful. The prices seem to fluctuate upwards or downwards sometimes, but that's life.
