If it wasn't an ear infection she would think something else was wrong. I was also taking her to the Dr for a constant vaginitis issue. The Dr finally said it was because I wasn't changing her diaper often enough. (She was potty training and only wore a diper for nap and bedtime at this time. Kiddie Campus kept her in a diaper all day.) I sent her with one diaper each day for naptime and it magically went away! I believe the teachers were being too lazy about making sure she used the bathroom. If your child shows interest in potty training before 2, they don't have a bathroom in the room so they will not work on the potty training with them and make them stay in a diaper until they are moved up into the 2's room. My son's teachers were great (note 2 stars)! Never any issues with diaper rash or him seeming unhappy when we dropped him off. When my daughter moved up in the 2's room we actually called her teacher Dumb Dumb because she always seemed clueless about everything going on around her. They will also move your child into the older children's room to make the numbers work for the day so they can cram more kids in. There is also a dog in the main office all the time so if your child is allergic beware. They are way over priced for what you get!

I really liked the owners but they seems to be there less often now and that's probably why they're starting to get a high turnover.

So happy we chose Lighthouse Academy!!! As a first time mommy I was very nervous to go back to work…read moreand leave my precious little baby with a total stranger but from the moment we went on the tour we knew that we were in the right place. The facility is spotless. All of the staff is very friendly and so accommodating. I have a kind of an odd schedule with work so they were very flexible with changing the days that I would need each week. My little one recently ran a temp and they called me right away to notify me and keep me updated on how she was doing. Even though it is heartbreaking to leave my child in the morning I know she is in a safe and healthy environment where she can have fun and start to socialize with other little ones. I would definitely recommend Lighthouse Academy!!!

Peaceful Pathways is an amazing school…read more I have two children that are alumni from PPMA. My son attended from kindergarten to eighth grade and my daughter attended from third grade to eighth grade. They are now 22 and 25 and have a strong self image that I attribute to PPMA. Many years ago when I was thinking about homeschooling my daughter, I read up on many different educational practices. I came across the Montessori education and loved everything that I read about it. My two children have grown up into successful adults, and I will forever be grateful for PPMA in their formative years. Sincerely, Jeff

My kids have been with the program several years, from 6months old and the parent child class to…read morethe primary program. They have learned how to take responsibility for the tasks they can accomplish with pride (mostly, I mean, some days you need a snack or a nap, you know). The montessori school methods they have taught me have improved my parenting. I have learned to listen to my children and consider their needs and how to redirect or train my kiddos. To expect my kids want independance in their abilities toncare for their space, themselves and others. They are curious, informative, moldable and happy. I am amazed at how calm the classroom environments are. They truly are little communities that respect each other and care for each other. Every teacher and aid that I have encountered seem to really enjoy what they do. I am impressed.
