The school is gorgeous, clean, and we so appreciate that they have a ZONO device that kills germs on hard to clean toys. In comparison to other daycares my daughters have attended, they come home sick significant less. More importantly, we love the teachers and admin at KLA: Ms. Tiffany has been my 4 year old's teacher from the very beginning. She is down to earth, fun, and really connects with the kids. When I asked my daughter who her best friend was the other day, one of the 3 people she listed included Ms. Tiffany. My 4 year old is very shy but over time has opened up a lot more at school and improved her social skills with the help of Ms. Tiffany. Ms. Lisa is my 2 year old's teacher. She has young children of her own and she treats my daughter as one of own. I can tell how much she cares for and looks after my little one. Ms. Melissa is the art teacher - she works with all the children at KLA. She is incredibly nice, creative, and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the kids. Ms. Heather is the principal. She is very responsive to parents and has been a pleasure to work the past 7 months. Martial arts and music class is part of the curriculum. I am also impressed by the Spanish exposure the kids get. My 2 yr old surprised me one day when she started counting her toys in Spanish without being prompted. My older daughter has attended 5 different daycares, and by far we have been the most impressed with KLA. I never worry about the quality of care my girls get while I'm at work. Ms. Gaby (3 yr old class) is a great teacher - she is warm and deals well with all of the different personalities of the children. My daughter loves going to school there and since the stay at home order has gone into affect, the school has done a great job with conducting lessons via Zoom. Going through a divorce is already extremely hard as it is. I only encountered this woman one time in person. I was invited to a Mom n Muffins event for Mothers Day back in 2022. I waited until someone was able to grab her to give me permission to enter the building. When she saw me she appeared to be in a very bad mood she was not happy to see me. Before I could say anything she said," wait here I'll see if I can get permission for you to be here." I smiled and said ok. She came back and didn't say a word to me just opened the door and lead me to my daughters classroom. Upon leaving I asked her if I could talk to her, and asked her if she had a copy of our current court order. I was shocked with her behavior she was nasty, rude and started telling me she was not going to listen to me talk about my ex husband. At this point I asked her if she could bring someone else in as I didn't like the way she was treating me she said no and continued to talk about Brian. Her behavior then escalated when I firmly said I was not here to talk about Brian and asked her why she was bringing him up? I had to quickly end the conversation because I was shocked with her anger and outburst towards me. I then sent an email to Donna the owner at that time, because I could not believe this woman's behavior. Donna called me and apologized for her behavior and expressed that no parent regardless of the situation should ever be treated this way. And assured me that this would not happen again. However, I later found out that Laura Carter made false statements about my character to our GAL as well and continued with her lies. But, it did not stop there she continued to make up additional lies to our custody evaluator when interviewed of things I "asked" from the staff which are false. I am not sure if she realizes the extend of her lies and how they can greatly affect lives and the damages this has caused to me and the lines of my children. This is absolutely not ok. It is beyond me that someone like this would still be in a leadership position in childcare facility where families place their trust and care on these individuals and who promotes the best interest of the children and families. I hope that no other parent experiences what I have experienced with Laura Carter. I have no idea why she has felt the need to defame my character. And it is my hopes that no other parent should ever experience what I have with this individual. This facility had a camera located inside her office. If the camera has an audio we could see and hear how this woman spoke to me and her awful treatment. I would never recommend any of my Naperville friends and family to this facility not because of the teachers they were all sweet and very kind to me, but because of LAURA CARTER.
