It is like a small Greenfield Village, but smaller and way less expensive, except for the train, which is a bit pricey, but they ride is quite long. Not too many places for kids to eat during the field trip, so that was a downfall. I would have liked to have looked around the ice cream and treat area, sounded yummy. Most of the kids liked the train ride, but it was a bit long for the littles, they got bored. I enjoyed going around the area, it was fun for me. The kids then got to see a comedy magic show. They absolutely loved it, I have never heard small children laugh out loud so much, so please let the gentleman in the picture who performed know he now has many new fans. We were able to walk around about two small buildings before we had to leave, so I did not get to see much more. My child enjoyed our time there and would like to visit again. For me, it was fun, but I don't know if I need to come back except if my other child wants to check it out.

In between lots of little cute shops is this mirror maze...as soon as our little one spots it, we "must" enter. So we did & what a blast we had. There were other people in there so it made it more fun because they'd actually come up to you wondering if you were a mirror or real--I laughed so hard in this thing! I thought it was a bit costly--$8 per person to enter, but you can go in and out as many times as you want...still!?!? A fun little interruption in between all the shopping.

The mirror…read moremaze is done pretty well and Bruno Mars, etc. piped in over the speakers makes for a fun (and not scary) time. The maze itself isn't huge and you can navigate your way out in 5-10 minutes or so. Any repeat visit is free all day. They ask you to put on disposable gloves prior to entry to prevent fingerprint smears on the mirrors. And they sell a large variety of bulk sweets in the lobby if you are so inclined. There is also a laser maze there with high scores, etc. available for an additional price. We did not do this on our visit and it is a one person at a time gig. Overall not bad.

Very easy to book online and be sure to get a rewards sign up. We did a package that included pizza and pop, a chicken dinner at Zehnders, and a breakfast buffet for both mornings. The hotel is easy to spot next to Bronner's. The theme of gnomes and fairies is so adorable. Staff are awesome! They were so sweet to my daughter and us. Whether it was our waitress, lifeguards at the waterpark, or the front desk. We were able to check in early, so be sure to ask! Our room was one of the older rooms and was one of the ADA compliant rooms, which has larger doorways, no bathtub, a queen bed, and a seating area with a fireplace. The room decorations and everything in it are original. It's very desperately needs to get a facelift. The room was right off of the front desk in waterpark, so walking to the action only took a few steps. I noticed there is no recycling bin. There was a mini refrigerator, but the temperature control wasn't the greatest. Carpet was buckling. The seating area did have a pullout couch, but the couch itself was slippery with the fabric and pretty uncomfortable. Not sure how well house keeping was. There was a Nerf gun instructions paperwork behind one of our bedside nightstands. The water pressure was awesome. The bedding felt clean and the bed overall was comfortable. Housekeeping was able to give us a few more towels off their cleaning cart, which was nice. There is an arcade, but it's definitely not as big as the other hotel down the street. It's very crammed into one room. The pizza and cheese bread was absolutely delicious. Was not expecting that for a kid themed hotel. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, but the buffet items don't change. So the second day we were already kind of sick of the options. They do a nightly movie night in the lobby at 8 PM. If our daughter was older, we definitely would've snuggled up in the lobby to watch the movie. The waterpark was our favorite. Our daughter is just over two, and I was so surprised at how many things she was able to do. She even got to go on a waterslide with us, holding her to go down. Also, she was able to go down a waterslide all by herself, so she thought she was super cool! At the hotel down the street, there's barely anything for a two-year-old to do at their waterpark. She absolutely loved being able to wade in the water with the toddler pool going up to 2 feet. She also was brave enough to go under the big bucket that splashes. We stayed two nights and I think we went to the waterpark at least four or five times and she never got sick of it. There is a security checkpoint for the waterpark. Security will put UV light on your wristband to make sure it's not a fake also go through any bags that you're bringing into the waterpark. Do not bring towel towels, the waterpark provides towels for you. Additionally, they provide lifejackets. There are plenty of tables and chairs all along both water parks, the old side and the new side. The new side wasn't as toddler friendly. There was a small slide she could go down, otherwise there really wasn't much else for her to do. We had a great stay and I think with them updating all of the hotel rooms, I think Zehnder's is the place to be!

There are also a couple of nice ball fields here so tournaments are a go. Playground equipment, ample parking, etc. Everything you would expect. Slightly difficult to get to if not familiar with the area (dead end street).

We got half day passes in the morning around 11:30 and stayed until 2:30 and we tuckered ourselves…read moreout! We did 5 different slides, theres so many to choose from. Theres a toboggan one that you lay flat down and you can race the person next to you as its timed and you can see your time when your finished! My husband and i did it several times trying to beat our previous scores. The tube slides are great, I absolutely loved the big 6 person raft, that one definitely takes some quick turns making it very thrilling. Make sure you keep your back against the raft and hold on tight though! When we got off the first time i thought we were done moving and i started to move and i conked my head on the side as we were getting out so make sure your getting out after theyve pulled the raft into their special area and then it gets carried back up for the next riders. The swim up bar was fun, water was warmer and you can even swim outside which was very neat as its a little chilly today we got to see the steam coming off the water. The drinks were a little pricey at 16$ each but they were good. But two drinks at 33$ is a bit much after we already paid 40$ each to get in. So can i at least get a few dollars off or something? Like do the people get a discount who stay here? Im not sure. But its a great place to wear out your kids while you chill in the bar or lazy river. The wave pool wasnt open so we didnt get to use that at all my husband was bummed about that he really wanted to see the dragon squirt water out of his "tuba" instrument.

The staff is friendly and available when needed. All in all, a great place to host a family reunion or similar get-together.
