We went on a whim for my son's 8th birthday today. AJ the new owner was fantastic! They had no more walk-ins for the day. as we were playing arcade games, kinda bummed about not being able to race... AJ came out, was talking to us. Asking us where we were from. Told him I drove from Saginaw. Then my son told him it was his birthday. AJ did NOT disappoint. he told us if we could not race today he would pay for a race next weekend. He then rearranged and asked another group if we could join their race. We were able to race in a two seater and play arcade games! I will definitely be going back! Thanks so much for the best day! Very very impressed. read more

This was a great fun on a rainy day. They did for vases for 50 bucks. That's not too bad the staff was quite good. They followed a lot of safety measures and explained safety measures. They were friendly and clear and what was expected and not expected. My teenagers had a great time. They spray the helmets out and they give you a liner to put on your head before you put the helmet on. You take it with you when you're done. read more

1st time EVER getting to go here to celebrate our sons 21 st birthday and we drove 35 minutes opposite way of everything close to us to try it out. Googled it, researched it and such. "NO Reservations " is what it clearly states unless you have a large group to book an event.... Get there and it's closed for an "event". Kinda important info on a website or google business page for us and several others turned away at door. So much for a good surprise for son's birthday while home on spring break. read more

The place is a dump. It has really went downhill. 50.00 for two 12 minute races and BOTH times there was cart issues. Actually let someone out of the cart and had them walk the track to get a new cart and DID NOT stop the race !!!!! Second race they had a car that was barley pulling itself around the track and they did not care.. The bathroom is worse then a gas station bathroom. Nothing is clean at all the windows to look out on the track are horrible. it is great they hire kids but dang teach them safety and cleaning. I came here for my birthday and we used a Groupon that they honored , my experience was awesome and the staff were really friendly . Extreme Indoor Kart Racing in Clio, MI, is extreme fun! My sons starting going several weeks ago and said it was awesome and told me I had to try it. They were right! I've now visited three times and have had a great experience each time. Owner Ken is very personable and has created a unique entertainment option for mid-Michigan. I had a kart when I was a teenager that maybe traveled 20 to 25 mph so I did not expect much, but it's true. You can reach speeds of 35 to 40 mph. Don't be discouraged if you're not interested in going too fast or have younger children. Not only are there junior carts for younger racers, Ken is willing to work with any group or organization to design an experience that fits the people in the group. Defintley a fun place, but really inconsistent pricing and service. I've been here a number of times over the past 4-5 years as an annual tradition with some friends, and it serves the purpose of a fun day out. However, recently when I went there the pricing on their Facebook page that they were advertising for that particular day didn't even match the pricing we had to pay; and of course the price we had to pay was higher. We brought this to the attention of the clerk, he just said "yep... We changed the prices". Not wanting to ruin a fun day, we just lived with it. Also, the carts are very inconsistent in their performance, which is really obnoxious. There are a couple Karts that if you get them, you have a real good shot at winning (recently when I went there his was Kart 12). Then there are other Karts that are just terrible, whether it be braking, acceleration, power ban, etc. These are fast high performance karts, so if your at all competitive, you want it to be a level playing field. Hope they can even up the Karts and address their pricing/advertising issue. read more

Extreme go karting in Clio Michigan. If anyone ever thinks of going there, yes it can be a fun time. However, the staff member named ( Drew) displayed horrible customer service. We went there for Lucas's birthday and since he is only 11 he had to be in a junior kart. Which I totally understand however, I asked if they could change the tune on the other karts since they are all computer chipped. If anyone knows me I am not the type of parent who lets their kid win just because. I just felt that he should have an equal chance. After several words I convinced them to make some modifications. After all I was willing to drop a couple hundred dollars there. It was like pulling teeth, such poor customer service. The owner Ken who I talked to tonight was unwilling to hear how his staff should come up with solutions to help customers. Great example of poor management. After looking at some other negative reviews it seems Ken never addresses any problem. read more

Decent track. Not for the inexperienced. No training to start. Just get in and go. Lots of turns with a few good straightaways.

Been there twice. Although it is fun,we found their karts are lacking in excellent maintenance condition. The karts are NOT all equal, you may get a good one in one race and a really slow one in another. We had steering issues in one,seat would not stay forward in another. Employees are great! very courteous and helpful. One of the owners I believe her name to be Mary or Marilyn, Is very rude, in that she won't listen to anyone as she is "the law" Both times I was there,one company employee appreciation day and one family fun day, pulled the youngest looking driver aside and severely reprimanded his behavior on the track. In both cases she was wrong and wouldn't be specific in what they did. when asked her to define what it was they did,she just "warned them again" and told us "just listen to her". My company (50+ employees) said they will look at other venues for next year and more than half (16 adults and 4 Jr's total) of my family members said "find a different location next time". All because of Mary / Marilyn's attitude. read more

Went there yesterday (4/2/16). Another group ended up going ahead of us when our number was next. Kids playing basketball in the middle of the arcade area almost knocking down a couple small children. Management didn't say anything to them. Many of the games in the arcade area were "out of order". Go carts were fun, after waiting about 1 1/2 hours. read more

this place is great! my friend and i couldn't decide how fast we got up to on the longest straightaway, but my guess was maybe 50 mph. indoors! Wednesday nights are $25 for 3 races or $35 for 6, either of which is totally worth it. we drove up from Ann Arbor and were happy we did. read more
