In the beginning they did their job; which was easy they had a brand new lawn and a brand new irrigation system. Once I moved from my property and rented it out they stopped placing signs in my yard after service and continued to bill me. FYI -IT IS ILLIEGAL TO SPRAY A LAWN WITHOUT A SIGN BEING PLACE!!! When I confronted them about it the Woman (Monica) who answers the phone was combative and answered "I thought you didn't live here?" Sound Suspicious ???? I have a lawn mowing service that has documented everything!! My beautiful lawn has gotten worse and worse though the excuses and invoices have never stopped. They removed 3 oak trees, one of which was massive and unhealthy and the other 2 were close and leaning over the house. This was a concern of ours for future hurricanes. They also cleaned up and lifted 9 other oaks. What a difference that made. They trimmed 5 tall palms which look dramatically better now. They lifted a very large Camphor tree in the front of our house which really improves the view and shaped and trimmed our Ligustrum and our Crepe Myrtle trees. They spent a significant amount of time cleaning up before they left. Their terms were payment upon completion and approval and we paid before they left. My wife and I are very pleased with the outcome. We found good value for what we paid. Based upon our experience we give them this 5 star review which was absolutely earned and not simply given.

The grass was watered morning and evening either by hand, rain and/or sprinklers but unfortunately, it did not take root and when I followed up for my 30 day guarantee I was then told it would be an additional fee for sod removal ($300 PER PALLET). Because it wasn't communicated from the beginning and was later stipulated I asked for a price reduction. They agreed to $150 for 400 sq. ft. but sadly this didn't cover the entire original order and in order to get the additional half pallet or so I would have had to pay $300 total.

I've driven by this place so many times. Finally, I parked my car on the street and walked through…read morethe gates. I had no idea where I was going, I just kept walking. Then I saw the small building, surrounded by piles and bags of mulch. I walked to the door and opened it. Felt like I was trespassing! Inside was a small office with two employees. There are samples of the mulch types and color. They seemed shocked that I just walked in! No greeting or anything. So I was like hello, I have some questions about the mulch- do you deliver? And the guy said yes. So I inquired about their availability/schedule and they said right before thanksgiving gets busy. So I said what about tomorrow? They said tomorrow is good, two deliveries in the morning and then I can have mine! Perfect. My next question was about how much I'd need. The guy was quick to say he doesn't know because he has never seen my property. So I was a bit stuck. He said the minimum was 3 cubic feet of mulch. I went for double that. Regarding payment, he told me to pay by check when they dropped off. I wouldn't be there so I promised to leave a check in an obvious place for them. I asked for the mulch to be dropped off on my driveway, on my tarp. He agreed. He gave me the price- $215.07. This was including the $45 delivery fee. The delivery was on time and pretty much on the tarp. They found the check and left a receipt in its place. At first I thought I had too much, but as I spread it over the next two days, I began to wonder if I had enough! I still have some left and I am not quite finished with my project. But I'd say it looks really nice and the mulch is quality. Only found a few pieces of random plastic pieces like a Gatorade lid, mixed in. The price, delivery and convenience of this place is unparalleled. Sure, my experience was a little awkward and weird but hey, they sell mulch, not cars. I'd recommend them. They also sell by the bag and by the palette. And if you've got a truck, you can save on the delivery fee by getting it right there. They have a second location in Oviedo. They own their own giant crane that lifted 2,000 lb segments over our 2 story home. The crew was professional and a pleasure to have on our property. Safety was their primary concern. We've used this company for almost ten years and had even recommended them to friends who hired…read morethem. Last year was the first time their work was problematic, and their response was as surprising as the mess they made. We hired Budget to trim a tree with branches overhanging our roof last summer. When they cleaned up the debris, they raked against the grain of the shingles and pulled up shingles all over the roof. In addition to destroying the seal, they raked the debris from the trimming process under the shingles which prevents them from laying flat and allows water to get underneath. Their workers also dragged trash cans filled with the debris around the roof leaving drag marks all over the roof. After a couple of months of the rainy season, we started getting leaks all over the house. In the last few months, we have had to fix leaks in almost every room of the house. Since there were no hurricanes last year, the only thing that disrupted our roof since last summer was Budget Tree Service. I contacted the company immediately after they raked up our shingles and their initial response was that it was my word against theirs. They sent someone to look at the roof. That person over-estimated the age of our roof by 16 years and accused me of lying when I corrected him. They then checked permitting records which verified that I was correct. The fact that he thought the roof was so much older is evidence of how much damage they did and how widespread the damage is. Although the owner offered to repair the roof, none of the roofing contractors that I spoke with recommended repair because the damage was so extensive and widespread. Two declined to give me a repair estimate at all. The one that did provide an estimate specifically said that they would not guarantee the work. When I told Dale, the owner of Budget Tree Service, about the contractors' recommendations, he said he wanted his own inspector to inspect the roof, which I immediately agreed to. A month went by with no inspection. When I was able to reach Dale, he had one excuse after another but kept saying that he was looking for an inspector. After a month, Dale had his attorney send us a collection notice. We paid his bill, but the damage that his workers caused is ten times the amount of his bill because it looks like we will have to replace the roof. This company has been trimming our trees for almost ten years and we have never had any disputes before and always paid promptly. The previous time we replaced our roof, we specifically scheduled tree work before the replacement to avoid the chance of damage to a new roof, which they expressed appreciation for. We are surprised that their workers, who must often work on roofs, would not know that it is damaging to pull up shingles and not to rake against the grain of the shingles. And we were completely floored by their response when we contacted them about the problem. Their default response to anything I said was to accuse me of lying, while not being truthful themselves.
