First, they didn't properly install the drain for the main bathroom tub. They were quick to come out on the warranty work, but did have to cut into our new drywall and would not repaint. Next, the overflow drain from the where the HVAC unit sits was covered with particulate, causing the drain not to be effective, leaving water all over our carpeted floor. This required a service call. Once the drain was cleared of material, it was clear that they had not installed the overflow drain into the main drainage exit. This was another service call required after the other should have fixed it. Finally, today, I had to call a different plumber as there was a stain on the ceiling under my main shower. The new plumbers cut a hole in the ceiling and confirmed that the work performed by JL&SP was insufficient to keep the drain from overflowing. I would not trust them with any future work and clearly have had to have others come in to straighten up what they missed. With zero walls to have to work around, they couldn't get it right. What will they do in your house?

I would like to say how grateful I am for selecting Mr Handyman to repair the water damage from the…read morecondo above mine. I did not know where to start, as I had not had to hire someone for this type of damage. Mr Handyman's information along with 3 other companies, cane from Angie's List. I had 4 texts from 4 potential candidates. I had sent a return text requesting a calls to discuss the damage done. I received no communication with 2 out of the 4. Never heard from those last 2. It was quick to contact Mr Handyman and set up a time for evaluation of the damage and get a written bid. There was an $80.00 fee for an in-depth inspection of the damage as well as specific calculations of the damage for them to adequately determine the total space needing repair. Setting an appointment was very quick and thorough evaluation done with written specifications as well as photos. Mr Handyman's prompt response to start in a few days and the time was excellent. The contractor, John Kumpff, explained in detail what he was going to doing over the among of time he expected to need to complete. He actually was able to repair all areas one day less than planned.
