I have him info on my kitchen, measurements, and what I'd like. He said I could buy by the slab or by sqft. If I bought the slabs then what ever is left over they'd cut and install on other areas I needed it for like fireplace or bathroom countertop. After that I also looked on Facebook Marketplace to see what other shops are around. I saw his shop in an add with a picture of a piece I also liked. I started communicating with him. He didn't remember who I was and had no info on the hour I spent talking with him on countertops. It was a little annoying. The template and install was included and he was going to throw in a sink for free. So I was waiting for workers to move my house along so I could go do the real-time ordering and get this project done. SECOND VIST: I drove back to the shop and spoke with the son, who is very polite and sweet. During my visit with him prices were hire and it was going to be an extra $400 for template and cut/install and no free sink. The price per sqft went from $65 to $78. At this point I just got the info I had and when I got home knew that this was not going to move forward. I then I checked around places in Orlando that service Ormond Beach for way less money and have great quality materials. PROS: - very kind staff. The son and Tiago are very nice to work with - warehouse with choices to choose from - some pretty pieces - some remnants for you to choose from CONS: - Prices are a bit too high in comparison to other places - not enough quartz options - staff didn't remember customer - communication through their Facebook ad was challenging - their parking at the shop was confusing - template, cut, install pricing is high. - price for sink is high. Would I recommend this place? No, I'd recommend the actual business I'm using for the countertops

As a potential customer reading reviews you probably wanna know if the customer service is good, the product and prices even better, and the vendor easy to work with? For me the answers are Yes! Yes!! Yes!!! Every time I called Mario, he answered. I swear I visited the Carswell showroom no less than 5x, oscillating between which stone to pick, and he was as patient as ever. :) Mario showed up when he said he would, measured twice to only cut once, and he fabricated the countertops perfectly. There was a little hiccup to no fault of his own. My flooring was not installed during measurements but present for the install. It threw the numbers off slightly. No problem at all. Mario and his assistant fabricated right on the spot, took an inch or so off to accommodate the LVP present, and made the waterfall work anyhow. It installed perfectly -- I am beyond pleased!! And I'm already conjuring up another "custom" project I know Mario can knock out the park based on his expertise and years in the stone industry. Now, here's the cherry on the top. Mario even gifted me with a little matching cutting board that he made just for me out of the leftover Quartz and dropped it off after the install -- so sweet! And please know that I did ask Mario candidly, upfront, about the really bad reviews he received. He told me the backstory (always 2 sides) and so I trusted my gut instinct and gave him a shot. The whole process was seamless. PLUS the measuring was no charge. Many companies will charge you for the template so beware. The cabinets look beautiful.
