There are a number of thrift and antique stores in this area so you can have a fun afternoon exploring all of them. This antique store's creation was rooted in Ito's (the owner) love of preserving American history. A passion for collecting artifacts and old Americana was turned into a business. Through several rooms you can explore antiques, collectibles, memorabilia and mid-century vintage treasures. Some of it is owned by Ito but he also has consignment and leases dealer space. There is so much to see so I really wanted to take my time. I loved exploring the furniture, home goods, collectibles, clothing, accessories, art, and more. The vintage mystery bags for only a few dollars were a fun find. I especially enjoyed Ito's personal collection of vintage model cars. This store is so cool and definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in the area.

They have ample parking and they have a lot of awesome shops all gathered in one cool, massive, open to the outside but still covered, building. You can even find fantastic deals on really great items such vintage and antique pieces here. I once found an antique, 1800's Victorian period, rose gold and opal ring. It was in a ring display holder amongst all kinds of different rings ranging in different sizes, styles, and ages, that were for sale. They sell all kinds of things here, such as clothing, plants, pets (including purebred puppies) and pet supplies. They sell dishes and all different kinds of other things that you would find in a garage sale or yard sale. They sell knives and other different custom one of a kind items, which is great for finding that perfect gift for birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc. Plus, don't forget that prices at flea markets are often times negotiable. I would definitely make it a point to stop here and shop for Christmas and the holiday season, as the weather will be beautiful outside that time of year and there will likely be holiday themed shops and a lot of the best shops of the year to browse during that time of year. They also have a food area where you can stop, and take a break from walking around, to get some tasty food and refreshing drinks to keep you cool and hydrated. This area is definitely a little on the smaller side, given the enormous size of the flea market, but they do have a fair amount of seating. An issue to consider when deciding if you should come to this flea market is that it's so very hot in Florida (especially in the Summer months), that it's almost too dangerous to walk around outside at flea markets, because you risk suffering a heat stroke. They sell many ways of staying cooler online. We live in a state where people come year round to visit the theme parks, so people are always finding new ways of staying cool in the Summer. My mother just bought a hat that is solar powered, and it has multiple adjustable fans that blow air on to her directly, that she uses when she is out and about in the Florida heat. She primarily uses it to keep her cool while she is gardening. Something that might help a lot is if vendors at this flea market carried business cards, with a good number to call, in the event that they wanted to tell us if they had something available that a specific customer might have an interest in, ahead of time. Like if a vendor sold rings, and then gave me his card, he could call me if he had any vintage and antique rings in stock, and I could call him whenever I wanted to check and see if there was anything I might be interested in in stock that day as well. I definitely recommend checking out this flea market. It's a fun way to spend the day and you definitely won't regret it.

Most items are very reasonably priced and there are little treasures, especially jewelry, but also ceramics, art, and a bit of everything in a small back room, from furniture to chess pieces. Don't miss her unique collection of art painted (gouache) on papyrus. Mervat will even sign or paint your name in hieroglyphics, free or for a small fee! This is not a run of the mill antique but an experience in its own right. Check it out! I hope they make it, because mall rent is steep and I'm already a fan after one visit. When it was built it was at the intersection of then Osceola Blvd. and Seminole Ave. In 1914 it was Farmer's Bank but the bank failed in the Great Depression. It then became the Indian River Citrus Bank. In 1983, the buildings were sold to The Vero Furniture Mart. In 2020 the building was sold once again and it is now Vintage Vero, a consignment store/ antique mall with 18 different dealers. There are multiple rooms of furniture, art, collectibles, ceramics, home goods. There is even a room with clothing and jewelry. My favorites were a chrome raindrop mirror, alligator magnifying glass, and mid century patio set. Prices arranged from under a hundred to many thousands of dollars. There is a lot to look at and the owners sweetly let me take my time.

Today they had to call the person to see if the price marked down was correct. They sent out a text message with no dates on it saying 25% off now through Monday not valid. I have a temporary credit card with my old card, DL and asked them to call my bank but no. Needless to say today was my last visit.

The space was taken over by a mother and daughter team and purposefully revamped to be an antique market. They clearly put a lot of thought into the design, layout, and even the lighting. It is definitely the cleanest, brightest, and best laid out antique market I have ever been to. When you first walk in the door there are several rows of glass cases containing jewelry and memorabilia. This is amazing for two reasons. 1. Because it is so many like items together. 2. Very few antique stores have such a large display of small items such as jewelry collectibles and memorabilia such as this. All of the stalls are laid out very neatly. But of course it is up to the renter of each stall as to how it is furnished and displayed. So as normal some are better than others. But all of them are quite wonderful. There is everything from antiques, vintage, memorabilia, glassware, homeware, lots of furniture, and handmade goods. So it is not 100% antique but I do feel that the handmade goods are upscale and fit well in the environment. It does not detract from or make you feel like you are missing out on antique options. Now that being said, that it is beautifully laid out and well curated. It is a little pricey. Not that the items are priced above their market value but most booths are pricing everything at the top end. So do be warned that you're probably not going to find a crazy amount of bargains. Now booths do have sales from time to time. And you can find some cheaper items. For example I got a beautiful pair of vintage enamel earrings for four dollars. But it is not an underpriced junk store. It is an upscale antique market. But it is definitely a very enjoyable experience and well worth a visit if not just to look at all the wonderful things!
