Not once did she say my love was squealing in pain but since we live out of town we decided to go see her ourselves since the vets were so far off from their opinions. When they finally brought Gladys out to us!! She was squealing in pain, couldn't open her eyes . we were in shock and ultimately had to let her go. No way were we leaving her like that until Monday. The X-ray showed a bunch of string like /plastic material and something lodged in her small intestine. To say the least our cat wouldn't have lived another day. We couldn't afford the 6000$ quote on the spot for our kitty :( The kind lady Stacy at the Emergency vet recommended I call our primary vet, Cats on Broadway. The earliest they could get our cat in would be the following Monday. 5 days away. There's absolutely no way she would have made it. After hearing this, Stacy called Last Best Vet as she highly highly recommended them. They immediately responded and told us they would be able to perform the surgery the same day. They saved our cats life. They are so much more affordable then anyone else in town. On top of that they are mobile if needed but if able to take your pet to them they have an amazing property and set up to take care of your 4 legged friend and it saves a small travel fee. The ambulance is immaculate ! Dr Longoria and his wife Crystal are Angels sent from above. I'm overcome with emotion on their approach to the situation . Our cat is recovering so much today already. This is what they found in her stomach. Thank you Last Best Vet! We will be having them become our animals new Primary Vet as they are also capable of doing vaccines and such. After being treated extremely poorly by the vet tech, the clinic did nothing but defend their employee. She told us to go to Skalkaho and I told her it was too far so she recommended Burnt Fork in Stevi. Thank God. They are so kind, compassionate and caring. When I brought a Teddy in for the last time several girls ran out to my car to help me bring him inside. I don't know what I would've done without them. Dr. Matt Witzel is so capable, competent, calm, pleasant, patient, caring, consistent, supportive and responsive. He treats his horse patients and their humans with complete respect, dignity and compassion. A true test...all four of my horses have actually liked and responded well to Dr. Witzel, which was not the case with the other vets. Additionally, Dr. Witzel's prices have been more fair and reasonable than what I paid the other veterinarians, who incidentally provided far less care for their higher fees. Highly recommend Dr. Witzel for true horse lovers. I honestly cannot say enough good things about him!
