Mike showed up on time and ready to inspect and work on our fireplace and chimney, He did a great job of fully explaining some issues with our system and even made a repair to the firebox. During our conversations he was very gregarious and easy to converse with. My wife had several questions which he answered in detail, all the while taking care not to soil the inside of our home. In the end he even volunteered to help my wife with an issue she had with her shop-vac. This encounter was much more pleasant than I expected and although the charge was a bit more than I expected, I'm confident we got a pretty good value for the work performed. I can now easily add my endorsement to his chimney sweeping service.

I requested a refund for the sales tax and he said his accountant and the Wa. Dept. of Revenue told him he had to collect it. I asked for his accountant contact info that he failed to give. Contacted WDepofRevenue and they gave me the statute #. I forwarded this to Mike then he admitted I was due a refund and he would get it off to me.It has been over 3 months and 3 contacts later and still no refund. Our experience with him makes us question his honesty and integrity.

They arrived promptly and it was impressive the difference in the air quality once they completed the work. We added on the dryer vent cleaning for a minimal fee and that was great peace-of-mind. It's pretty impressive to see the truck with the hoses and raised balloons cleaning the air ducts and the neighbors were glued to their windows to see how it was going. Our second home is a two-story home and it was new to us, so we wanted to start with a proper air duct cleaning with added dryer vent cleaning. They have cost me many thousands worth of water damage in my home because of what they specifically did and they deny! Negligent with zero care given. It started malfunctioning in the early part of the winter during that super cold stretch. On off - on off... I sure didn't want it to die during the night. I panicked and called a different company out to ck the heater over. Whoever Mike's Mechanical sent out forgot to clean some basic little temperature probe. The new service guy hooked up a meter, up came a code and it ID'd the problem instantly. The new guy cleaned the probe and the furnace has been functioning fine ever since.
