At first, I was doing treatment with Invisalign. When I came to his office for a consult, he asked tons of questions about my experience despite what my previous Orthodontist was telling him. It was like he was wanting to know what I wanted to do rather than run with what my Orthodontist wanted. After I considered wearing braces and starting over because I was tired of waiting for Invisalign and felt that the progress was moving along too slow, he accepted me. My appointment wasn't until weeks later to make sure that I was sure about my decision and I didn't have to pay anything down until the braces were applied. Ever since the application of my braces, I've been very satisfied. He explains what he doing and gives me an update on how my teeth are moving. Since I chose the ceramic braces, he even gave me the option to come in more frequently to have the rubber bands changed because they stain very easily. I'm very happy with my results so far as it's been about 4 months.

The dental hygienists are also a great team, I've had cleanings with both Mary's and they're so good at what they do that I look forward to my appointments. Also, have you ever been charged for anesthesia D9215? A regular filling includes numbing the tooth with a shot. To add D9215 is called "unbundling" a procedure from the primary filling code. In other words you were billed twice for the numbing shot. Check your billing statements. I almost missed it.

He showed zero empathy, especially toward someone like me who's insecure about their teeth and trying to build confidence again. He couldn't give real guidance--just said, "it's whatever you want to do." My mouth was full of blood and uncomfortable, and I had to ask for water and a cup to rinse. That should be automatic, not something I have to request. He didn't say goodbye, didn't acknowledge me at the end--he just talked to the assistant like I wasn't even there and walked off. The only person who treated me with any care was the dental assistant. To make matters worse, they never scanned the insurance info I sent or the signed form for my X-rays. I had to follow up three times just to be taken seriously. This experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and emotionally draining. I won't be returning. I didn't do a good job of wearing my retainer so my bottom teeth have shifted over the years. I knew I didn't want invisalign as I have many friends who have gone that route and ultimately ended with traditional braces. I feel like I was completely lied to with everything I know so there was no way of trust them doing any work on my mouth. They told me that Invisalign would be MUCH faster and if I did traditional braces it would take at least 12 months and they would have to do my top as well.
