This group was recommended by my foot doctor in Wauwatosa. But my experience was quite terrible. I left a message and no one bothered to call me back. They claimed they "didn't get the message" yet their VM indicated they would be out for the rest of the week at a training seminar. I called the following Tuesday and they had no idea about the message, and practically accused me of lying. However, I was able to back it up to indicate that I learned they were 'out on training'. So they couldn't refute that. Then they asked what kind of insurance I have -- I have two different plans for dental. Their response? They didn't know whether my plans were in network. Let me tell you something: most dental plans are out of network. Very few in are IN NETWORK plans, but most dental groups will final on your behalf. I found this office lazy, off-putting, arrogant, uninspired and uneducated. Do not waste your time. This group is unprofessional, mindlessly illiterate and has no business manners. This is the third terrible dentist in Brookfield that I've had no one help me with an appointment, and employees who are paid to care less. DO NOT GO TO BROOKFIELD DENTISTS!! I have had a ton of dental issues over the years and recently found Brookfield Dentistry when i moved to Wisconsin. Their staff is super helpful and responsive when it comes to booking appointments and will help explain dental insurance etc. Dr. Daryl Stitch is such a pleasure to work with, he helped me with my crown repair and is very discerning when it comes to matching the new crown color to your teeth. Definitely give them kudos for working through the pandemic and keeping all their staff and patients safe. read more

I was a patient at Brookfield Dentistry for over 15 years. They were very good when they were at their old building across the lot. Ever since they moved into their new plush building, their demenors and attitudes changed dramatically. The last few times I went I was stuck with a older hygienist who would drop tools, have me sit more than 10 minutes in the chair before starting to clean my teeth. This was on top of the 15 minute extra wait time in the waiting room after check in. The main reason why I finally moved to a new office was the little back handed remarks they had. I had a few fillings to get done and the dentist (dr stich) would comment "oh do you have a new lifestyle" and everytime i would come in for a cleaning he would chat with the hygienist telling her i have bad teeth. ghee thanks for the positivity! The worst comment was when i had a filling getting done and he gave a shot in my gum line and the anesthetic went on the sides of my throat making it hard to swallow. I had to sit up twice to breathe right. This younger smart mouth hygienist told me "cant you breathe through your nose, you do have one". you talk big to someone when there is a drill and tons of gauze in their mouth hey? Ive never been talked to with such disrespect at a dr office. Ive moved on to a Forward Dental in my area and wow what a difference!!! Forward Dental makes me have zero anxiety, no horrible comments but actually tell me how great im doing and that my teeth are looking good! My most recent experience was fantastic! From the moment I walked into the door I was given exceptional care and treated with the upmost respect. Previously working at a dental office, I have high expectations for the quality of care I receive and hospitality shown to me. This office far exceeds my expectations. Erica is a wonderful hygentist! She is timely, easy to talk to and does a great job cleaning my teeth. I also had a few wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Stich is the best around. He eased all my nerves and made what could have been an extremely unpleasant experience seem like a breeze. Not only was the visit and care given to me expectional, but receiving a call from Dr. Stich the day after my procedure made me feel valued as one of his patients. I couldn't be happier with the office! I would recommend anyone to this office! read more

While waiting for 15 minutes to be called back for a routine exam and cleaning, I was appalled to see 4 different members of their staff not wearing any mask or protective equipment in their office. I was also surprised to see 5 other people in the waiting room with chairs not spaced out or distanced appropriately. I was sent an email prior to my appointment stating they place patient safety and infection control as a top priority and that their staff is using 'advanced personal protective equipment'. They also state that they adhere to CDC guidlines in response to the covid-19 pandemic on their website and in communications with patients. The lack of mask wearing by hygenists interacting with patients and taking their temperatures within several inches of patient's faces made me so uncomfortable I opted to cancel my appointment. I spoke with the office manager at the front desk and expressed my concerns and she brushed them off and said that the hygenists wear masks while patients are in chairs in the back. I guess she doesn't take seriously that we are in a pandemic and I guess she doesn't know what the CDC is recommending. On the CDC website it says "As part of source control efforts, DHCP(dental healthcare providers) should wear a cloth face covering or facemask at all times while they are in the dental setting." I will never return to this office and will be moving my husbands and my files to an office that does take patient safety seriously. I will also make sure none of my family or friends visits them. If a basic infection contol measure such as wearing a mask indoors in a medical office in July of 2020 is not a part of their protocol, what other cleaning and sterilizing methods are they not following? read more
