Prices are actually really good here but the selection here is pretty minimal. It's one of the few stores downtown that are open on a weekend after 5:00pm. The store was fairly packed as well so it's pretty popular in the area it seems.

The food is always fresh and cheaper than other stores food prices. The store has the perfect ambiance to make the customers welcomed with the feeling of wanting to come back again. Aldi's has the best food, including the Pancake batter and syrup you can't get anywhere else. Aldi's has cheap very effective Non-Stick cooking spray compared to the PAM Non-stick cooking spray.

I always grab 2-3 food items (lunch, and 2 snacks) and some drinks (a gatorade, case of sprite, etc) and They have items that even Walmart doesn't carry that I like to eat regularly (Devour frozen meals etc) - The self check out section even if its busy usually clears out relatively quickly (1-2 minutes) - The only thing Id say is some of their items are a bit more expensive than other places - with my daily receipt before work being from 15-23 dollars depending on if i buy pop or not. I'm still choosing Kroger over walmart by a mile based on the fact that they have way more options available - including deli section. I haven't bought it in a while (i might start again now that I remembered and writing about it) -- I used to have a favorite meal, the only downside is i think they stopped making/selling "BLACK CHERRY" kroger brand pop. It was the best. It came in like an 8 pack and was easy to grab a 'buy 2 get 1' deal with kroger pop than it was buying 12 packs of coke/sprite. I hope that pop still exists somehwere, because it puts regular 'cherry' to shame. with that id go buy 1-2 packs of pretzel buns (sometimes they have to take them out of the freezer/cooler if none is out on the shelf) and id get Buffalo Chicken from the deli (lunch meat) shaved or just say 'as thin as you can, no specific preference' - and id get some fresh sliced cheese (Colby, Meunster, Pepper jack etc) and then id go grab a small bottle of buttermilk ranch (hidden valley), id grab a container of cottage cheese , and a bag of spicy-nacho-Doritos. Id get to work, warm up the bun first for 20 seconds, make the buffalo chicken/cheese sandwhich with the buttermilk ranch spread on inside of both of the buns, put it on a plate with a few spoons of cottage cheese, and a handful of doritos, crack open a black cherry pop? SHEEEEEIIIITTT. Mouth is watering right now. I used to add a kosher pickle or 2 to that combo but since I had dental surgery and im now 'gummin it' its difficult to eat things that dont break or tear easily - even the bun is hard enough for me. - I cannot get this kind of unuqie meal combo from walmart. at walmart youll find old discounted bread probably made elsewear, prepackaged meat from a warehouse that says and charges you for 1 weight when its acutally less. -- I do not trust walmart - thats what this comes down to. Kroger, They let their products do the talking. If its a bit more, just use their Kroger card (free) I do get discounts each receipt even if its only 2-5 bucks on a $40 bill. The vibe there is pretty chill too. While WALMART seems chaotic and has everyone going every direction (having to skip their aisles that are only wide enough for a cart and a half) because theres 45 people parked having conversations) -- Kroger has wider aisles PS. they have their own gas station at the end of their parking lot with mini fridges for drinks, car accessories (oil, coolant, washer fluid, etc) and using your kroger card gives you hella fuel discounts every month. I tend to get my gas for my work week here every Sunday. (50 bucks a week or so) - the guy with the glasses that works at the gas stations in the afternoon/evening is the coolest dude ever - hes always professional and i leave there feeling good - I wish all employees at places i did business at acted like that. Acted like they were happy and wanted to make sure the customer was happy. - it may be little but to me this is a huge deal. I think that's why i continue going here.

He then went and told another associate to go in the back and see if they had it in the back room. I told him thank you and he completely ignored me and walked away. Then the girl he sent back to look said they didn't have any in the back room. You locked up the formula and now you can't seem to find what I need but when it wasn't locked up there was plenty on the shelves. I'm guessing you forgot to order some considering now they are locked up or somebody was to lazy to open the case and scan so you could get more in stock. This is unacceptable! I had to drive to Pontiac to get formula that you said you had!
