I was reassigned a doctor when mine left. Met him for the first time last week. He was the worst doctor I've ever seen in my life. I will not be going back to him. I used to go to grants pass clinic for my kids to see Dr. Judy Black and we are new to the area. When she left to open her own practice , we followed as we didn't know of anyone else and my kids really liked her and I felt confident in her. Now with the recent events and Good Shepherd (Dr. Judy Black) had to close their doors, not to just pediatric care but also for autism cases due to this clinic, I'm really frustrated. We already have a limited amount of providers in general but for the people with disabilities? This is so shameful and it really hurts the people of this community. read more

DO NOT USE GRANTS PASS CLINIC!! They are a joke, once they have to fork out possible extra money for you. I have had cancer twice already and now on my third time. My Dr is moving out of state and they had no openings here for a new doctor. I got a letter I was being dropped from services because my doctor is leaving the clinic. I had my doctor's appt and my doctor put a rush on determagology to make sure I got in before my last 2 weeks were up. I went to my appt at 10am with Dr Powell who is wonderful and his assistant Patty is too and she said I'm sorry we can't see you. I inquired why. She said due to Grants Pass Clinic's policies we can't see you. Thought it wasn't insurance. I talked to someone outside of the building and they explained they didn't want to be liable for me and any costs that may come up after getting my moles biopsied. And my doctor found 5 and I've had this before and I counted 22 moles needing to be checked. Now I had to get a referral at Siskiyou Community Health Center in their walk-in clinic for dermatology since my appt with my new doctor isn't until August 21st; however, now I have to wait until July 31st to even be seen by dermatology and I have melanoma, which can get really bad in 6 weeks; in other words, I will be way passed that marker by the time I have this appointment. As we all know, offices are scheduled out months away, most of the time and if I have to wait to go back to get all of these removed with months in between, it might not be good for me. I have had Dr Hunt as my doctor for almost 10 years and liked her along with her asst Katy. i had an appt today with Dr. Hunt for 3pm. I got there at 2:55pm. I stood in line to be checked in. The receptionist didn't get to me until 3:15pm. She said that Katy her asst, saw me in line so it should be ok. Well, it wasn't. Katy said they now didn't have time for me and I needed to go somewhere else. I felt they didn't care about what was going on. They must have been busy and felt my value as a patient was nothing and that I needed to be seen meant nothing to them because they were busy and wanted to leave on time. Their disregard for me and the fact that I was there on time for my appt didn't matter at all. I am really disappointed. Does it really matter? I doubt it. read more

My doctor left and I was assigned a doctor. The doctor they assigned me is someone I saw once and we DID NOT HIT IT OFF! Kelsey, who assigns patients of the doctor you have. She is forcing me to see him or leave the clinic!!! This makes me sick, depressed, stressed and angry because of this! It's affecting my mental health but Kelsey doesn't give a crap! For the past fifteen years I have had the best of care from Grants Pass Clinic. Drs. Roberts and Hitchcock are genuinely concerned with the health of their patients, and they literally saved my life in 2019. When I saw Dr. Roberts in then and told him what was going on, he left my room for a few minutes and came back with an appointment for a cardiologist that afternoon. I had an angiogram five days later, and triple bypass surgery the following day. I was that close to a heart attack! I can't say enough for Dr. Roberts or Dr. Hitchcock when I do see him. Both doctors have great attitudes, concern, and take time listening to me, as if they had no other patients. I highly recommend them. read more

I see Dr. Hitchcock, he is a nice guy and I like his nurse. The girls that check you in and out of your appointment are mostly rude. I don't know if they are over worked or under paid but there is no reason to make patients feel like they are interrupting you day. Nobody really likes going to the doctor, it is the staffs job to make you feel welcome and comfortable. These ladies do just the opposite. I recently had to have my blood drawn at the lab. They are generally very nice and understanding as I have to lay down for blood draws. The gal I got was rude when I dropped off the paperwork. She turned out to be the one to draw my blood. When I told her I needed to lay down for the procedure her body language was very clear I was putting her out. I told her it was either that or she could pick me up off the floor! She then changed her attitude. I realize people have bad days and maybe this was one for her. read more

They're closed on weekends and don't have on call doctors--during the pandemic they should have a nurse on call or something. Every time I call the doctor during the week I always always always get a voicemail. And they don't call back!!! I need to find another doctor this clinic is so disorganized. Once, they diagnosed me with something and then they called back to tell me they made a mistake. That's very reassuring to know they make mistakes on your chart! read more

They give you a confirmed appt and then they refuse to honor that appt. I was very much a fan of Dr Moss but then they refused to see me during my appt. I was waiting for an mri referral and they would not keep my appt. This place is so screwed up any more. There are better drs offices out there. If you dont mind being treated like trash then this is your place. read more

Best lab experience ever! They actually scheduled a date and time! I was 5 minutes early, waited 3 minutes, called in, blood drawn and out in 4 minutes. Never have I had that level or quality of medical lab service. I hope this the norm cause they rock! read more

May May 7th I called to make an appointment with my Doctor Kory Hunt that I had no problem's with but she has Fridays off, so I ask if she had a back up as I had pain full hives around my ears and on my head so due to the much needed appointment they made an appointment with Dr. Lauren Packard for me, our visit went well she said she would call in two prescriptions for me. I went to my pharmacy Friday and nothing had been called in I kept going back and checking still nothing. Saturday I once again drove to my pharmacy to hopefully get my prescription nothing has been called in. Monday I called the Nurse Marissa she said all computers were down Friday and she would call it in. Ok now its been Four days finally got one of two prescription's late that afternoon. I did leave this message on my chart. I wish you would have contacted me and told me your computers were down I could have came in to get my scrips and I could have took them to my pharmacy Friday and can you tell I am upset its been a Hell of a weekend. Our doctor for the last 33 years retired last year and we had to find a different primary care doctor. For 33 years we traveled to Medford for doctor visits. So, we were thrilled when we found out that The Grants Pass Clinic was accepting new patients. We started going there in 2019. There we saw Dr. Kori Hunt. She had provided us excellent care for the short time we had been going there. On April 28, 2020 I went in to see her for a follow up visit for vertigo that I had problems with. I have been suffering with it since the end of January 2020. My visit a few days ago was going well. All the normal questions were being asked. She asked me if I was having any other symptoms with it like dizzeness, sore throat, etc. I said well, I did wake up with a scratchy throat this am. But, I do have severe allergies year around. I told her that I thought it was just that. It comes and goes and if I don't take my Clariton daily it sometimes gets really bad. All of a sudden. She looks at me and is mad for some reason. I could see it in her face. She says, and I am quoting as best as I can remember: "I am so tired of people coming in here and lying to me about their symptoms". I just sat there to stunned to really reply to her. I muttered something like I had forgotton to take my Clarton this morning. Mind you, I am there to talk to her about my vertigo and my right ear and what is going on with it. I didn't even get to my symptoms , like my ear feeling like it needed to pop all the time or my head aches that I am havening. Never got to that point. She closed my file or what ever she was caring in her hands, stood up and with out a word left the room. I just sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out what had just happened. I soon realize that she wasn't coming back. So, I fumbled around in my purse for my keys and got up and opened the door. I stepped out in the hallway and look up and down the hall. No doctor, no one at all. I went out the front door near the check in desk and just kept walking. At this point I was really getting mad. Mad because of the way she spoke to me and mad cause I did not get to finish my appointment with her and try to get resolve my symptoms for my vertigo! I still have no idea what she was talking about me or other people lying to her. I went home and talked it over with my husband and we decided to just look for another primary care doctor. Today, Thursday April 30, 2020 we have a new primary care doctor.The whole experience with that visit has left me questioning if the entire world is going mad. I'am not sure what is going on with Dr. Hunt . But she came off to me totally unprofessional. Now maybe she was just having a bad day, I don't know. I did get a letter signed from her this afternoon saying that The Grants Pass Clinic is terminating their care for us. I think that Dr. Kori Hunt is coming un-hinged or something and I would certainly not recommend anyone going to that clinic. read more
