She was my doctor for a long time (close to 20 years) and had a good staff. That changed & they were terrible! I missed an appt. and paid $50. for the oversight. Her staff is indifferent, would not remind me of appts. and were rude in general. The last time I saw her, I asked if I should look for another doctor and she said 'no'. About a month later I received a letter from her saying she could not see me any longer! What gives? I would not recommend her to anyone. read more

DR Kahn came highly recomended When i found out she was accepting new patients I was thrilled. I even changed my insurance carrier just so I could work with her. I filled out a very personal very extensive "new patient packet" and waited and waited and waited to hear back from them. Her office did not return any of my many calls, they have no easy way to contact them ie: email, or client portal. I'm frustrated at this point. I have since found another provider. I would like to get all my highly personal information out of their hands but as yet have been unable to get through to them despite leaving several messages. Heather may be a good doc but her support staff is incompetent, indifferent and have no business working in the health care profession. I hope she reads this and finds a new staff. read more

Dr. Kahn was our physician for years when we were in Grants Pass, Or. Thought she was really good. However years later things we talked to her about and she dismissed came to be major issues. For me the back pain issues she ignored caused the need for total hip joint replacement and major nerve and spine damage. My wife had issues also that mostly were ignored causing her to need thyroid removed and other issues. So my opinion is Dr. Kahn is a horrible physician who refuses to do the work she's supposed to do. Very angry with her! She could have and should have treated myself & my wife. read more

Dr. Kahn is an excellent, intelligent and empathetic doctor. She spent time with me on each occasion trying to figure out a bit of a mystery where I feel like other physicians would have dismissed it. Not only is she capable and caring enough to figure out problems but is also a good guide in getting you to a specialist. Having someone that's actually willing to think through things before acting is probably the greatest quality one can have in a physician. I highly recommend her. read more

We were looking to give meaningful input into our own care, and approach things from a team perspective between our provider and ourself - however this did not turn out to be the place to do so in the end, despite the functional medicine certificates and "Patient-Centered Primary Care Home" designation ... and if you are like us - then this may not be the right place for you. If you like to ask questions, have a logical or science based backrground or approach to thinking or, do research, and want to make sure that your valid questions are addressed without being told to just do what the doctor says - then this might be the wrong place for you. If you have any inclination to take the lead in your own care, with the doctor playing a consultative role - then this is definitley the wrong place for you. If you are looking for practitioners that take the lead, tell you how it is and that you need to "trust" them, and think they alway know "best" - then this IS the place for you. Although I greatly value the Functional medicine approach, this practice was in our experience more allopathic than other fuctional clinics I have worked with. The people here are nice and seemingly kind and empathetic ... until you ask questions that contradict their assertions. The saying seems to apply here - "don't confuse me with the facts." By all means - never tell them that you don't understand why they prescribe something contrary to the PDR listed contraindicators, or the significant patient community testimonies that repeat what the PDR clearly states. That conversation may end abruptly! They do seem open to some guidance and suggestions in treatment; but at the same time do not seem to have room for current evidence based research and input from today's large and well documented patient groups and research files. Kind of a mixed bag. We will update this review with further info for better clarification. We do have further positive things to express. We are also open to some revision if the provider wants to reach out to us to dialogue on why we are giving this rating and these comments. We were patients of Dr. Kahn's office for 10 years. Never complained. Always paid our bills. Rarely saw her for anything other than routine visits. In December, my wife got very sick and struggled to get any help from this office in getting the medicine she needed. Two weeks later I went in for a visit about a lingering cold. Dr. Kahn did nothing for me. Told me my ears were clogged, but her office could do nothing to help me and said she'd send me to a specialist (at an additional cost obviously). When we expressed our dissatisfaction with this recent lack of care, we were immediately labelled as "unreasonable " by her and her office staff, and care for us was terminated. Clearly, despite our 10 years of seemingly positive relationships, Dr. Kahn had no interest in us as patients. Happy to part ways with her and to find compassionate healthcare somewhere else. read more

Dr. Kahn is warm, smart, down to earth takes the time to listen, and I always feels she cares about my health. I like that she seems prevention and nutrition oriented. I think because she is so popular, and not working every day, it can be hard to get in to see her for any kind of urgent situation. read more

Dr Kahn and Rogue Medicine is fantastic. Be warned if you want som e up tight yuppie in a white coat then go somewhere else. She is going to come in as she is and tell you straight. She also has little interest in treating a symptom. She would rather find the cause of the symptom and treat that. If you want a doctor to just right you a prescription then go to the clinic. She will always try to treat naturally but will also write a script if needed. I have been going to see her for many years now and she has yet to find the cause and take care of it. She cares very much about her patients and shows it with a hug. read more
