They carry thrift items as well as overstock. I saw furniture (some nice), cookware, toys, art and lots of clothes. Several shelves of pretzels and snack foods stood near checkout. The store is neat and well organized. Prices were reasonable, especially with the daily discounts. The staff is friendly. I was greeted upon entry and she described daily deals. I snagged an antique plant stand for only $6. Woohoo! There is plenty of parking in their private lot. Worth a visit.

Items seemed to be placed randomly, and nothing about the layout felt customer-friendly. The staff were rude and unhelpful, which made the visit even worse. Several employees came across as dismissive, and the managers were just as unpleasant. Instead of trying to assist customers or resolve concerns, they seemed annoyed to even be asked simple questions. That kind of attitude makes a bad store experience much worse. Overall, this location needs serious improvement in both organization and customer service. A thrift store should at least be easy to shop and have employees who treat people with basic respect. I won't be coming back.

There were maybe 200+ booths and and a large selection of goods. I was on the hunt for some good deals, and found some awesome bar taps, 80s-90s toys and much more. Stop by, look something with value to you and enjoy the massive selection. Prices on most things were right in line with what a collector would expect, but there were some great deals to be had.

Found one item i could use..was confused about high prices on items on the shelves..so damaged…read moreand was asking high cost..The Bins were big with alot of open items..the store tryed to keep up and had repeated on loud speaker but still people were not doing that.they ripped open boxes. Example they had air fryer 179 dollars with broken handle still asking 160 bucks for the items and I felt the items on the shelves were way over priced and tops and pants you can buy new at Walmart cheaper. Other items in a case are vintage Scouts items not for sale. Cornell's is a time capsule that must be experienced. When in Newark just before Thanksgiving my hotel recommended when I forgot my coat back home. It was a short walk from the Doubletree. The store is on the main drag. Upon entering your immediately taken back to another time period of the old general stores. The amount of inventory on the walls, on the tables, well literally every where you look. There is new, there is vintage new such as concert T shirts from the 60's & 70's. What is not there is an odor, the place has no old stinky smell that you may imagine. Plus some items that the owner would never sell on display such as Levi's jeans that date back to the company's start and probably worth tens of thousands. Mr. Cornell, the owner in his 70's has stories he will share if you have time about the family history and four generations of operation. The location was originally a stage coach stop, but Cornell's has their own history too! Like Fats Domino playing pool with the owners Father in the 1950's. They also have an antique juke box dating to the early 40's. The passion that Mr. Cornell brings to the business is what really stands out in my mind. He offers quality merchandise and is proud of the history dating back almost a hundred years. You cannot find another store in the country that compares. It would be impossible! In my opinion he should set up an online store. The items are just so unique and there would be demand nationwide. I walked out with a classic Woolrich red and black checkerd jacket that set me back $250 or so. Don't miss this store if your even within hours.

I looked all over town and most selections were non existent but this joint was had so much more than cards! Video games, comics, action figures... Everything was well-priced and the guys at the front counter were some of the nicest and coolest I've met. They have several boxes of free bulks in the back where I found these puppies!

You will be greeted by a shop cat - Delilah - who like to lounge on some of the scarves. So fair warning to those with allergies - this might not be the place for you. While I didn't walk out with anything that day, there was a lot I had my eye on. I think our favorite buy of the day though was the sparkly reindeer antler headband that takes Christmas decorating up a notch.
