While I'm not overly fond of the pricing, I do understand it--because for the perfect, high-quality pair of vintage jeans, I'd absolutely pay the price. From funky clothing and jewelry to home decor, art, and kitchenware, this place just screams hippie wonderland... Take me back to the 70's please! It was wonderful. Towards the back of the building is a mini record store and that's where they hooked me! My record collection is largely oldies thanks to my grandmother. Luckily, they had a good mix of music and I picked out a more recent album I knew I needed in my collection. The staff was friendly, the space was fun, I'll definitely be back!

I had traveled from out of town to pick up some unsold items on the last day of my contract. One dress in particular had a security sensor attached -- which signaled to me that they understood its value -- but when they removed the sensor, it sprayed ink all over the white fabric. Despite the damage, they offered me just $22 for the dress, which I later sold on Poshmark for $100 the same day I picked it up. When I voiced my concerns, I was encouraged to speak with someone at the front desk, but the response was dismissive -- simply stating it would be treated as a markdown sale. There was no accountability, and it was clear there would be no resolution. I didn't bother to fight the way they seemed happy to conduct business, as this was my first experience. It was a disappointing experience that showed a lack of care for consigned items at Second Chance. I've learned my lesson and will not be returning. I'd recommend sellers explore other platforms or shops that treat high-value pieces with more respect and offer fairer returns.

If you'd like to sell items, there are very clear guidelines on their website. I have sold items a few times and love that I can get a bit more if I choose to get paid in store credit as opposed to cash. Any items that aren't selected for the shop get donated, which is awesome. If you're in the neighborhood I highly recommend checking out this little shop and the other sustainable shops (Koko and Little Light Collective) next door.
