We weighed buying a boat, putting in a pool and the boat club and found this option to be the most cost effective at least for now. The nautical boat club has a wide selection of options and the monthly fee is nominal compared to buying a 60-100k boat. While the gas after the adventure can add up I guess this is where the organization can make additional money. I wish they were up front with that cost up overall not many complaints for our first month. I think operationally I have some feedback but I can share that with the franchise owner. Regardless we love being on the water and the option to use it at other locations across the country! Anchors up!

They are significantly more expensive than any other club, they offer the fewest number of boats and the boats are not any better than any other club. During the peak of fishing season this fall they only had 8 boats available , only 4 of which allowed fishing and they took their brand new best fishing boat offline in October until January because they were getting covers made for it. There are constant issues with the boats not being clean, salt on the windshields, trash in the trash can, wet seats, broken parts that rarely get fixed, it's quite frankly a joke. I pays $800 a month when ALL the other clubs are under $600 a month with insurance and taxes, I checked !! The manager Shayne never communicates anything, such as time changes on the boats, boats going offline or coming online, changes in rules or literally anything. Stay far away and do NOT trust the fake reviews! I have a few friends stuck in their contracts here and they can't get out without being sued.

Family owned and ran business and they are great people. Great customer service, quick response times and the coach is soooo knowledgeable. I bet he could come with a new move everyday of the week. What I want to know is how did they end up with nice students too? This is not Cobra Kai, the other students/attendees actually try to help new kids and people that know less technique than them to be better. If I have to move away to a new place to live I will need some of you to help me beat up the owner/coach and put him in my trunk to take with me. DONT JUDGE ME, just help me take him with me and just add that to your resume. Awesome school and I love bringing my daughter here.

Plus, we are all about raising strong, confident ladies, so what better way than to learn what strength you have and how to use it? I know nothing about wrestling. I usually come to watch my toddler and my husband wrestle it out. Coach (and his family) have been awesome in allowing our young one get comfortable on the mat to work on her confidence, and eventually some sense of technique follows. We just started Brazilian Jiu Jistu here as well. Coach's teenage daughter has been very patient and helpful in teaching my daughter various concepts and moves. My kid may not be mastering any moves just yet, but she always goes home with the knowledge of both wrestling and BJJ, explaining what Coach did or showed her, or what my husband practiced with her. This is a family run business by a very dedicated family. That alone is a win. All of them have a role at the studio, whether it's teaching a class, taking a class, or welcoming folks to the studio.

Here's why: 1) Equipment: pretty good selection actually. Lots of free weight options, including barbells, a squat rack, benches, a deadlift area with bumper plates, dumbbells up to 100lbs; plus many machines, including cable machines, and quite a few cardio options. The high point of this gym is definitely the variety of training options. 2) Ambiance: needs work. The whole gym is dark and a bit dingy; the bathrooms are filthy (well, at least the men's was), there's water and who knows what else on the floor and many lockers were broken; equipment is in general disarray, and some machines don't function exactly right. All in all, this gym needs a tune-up! 3) Convenience: 24 hours, close to many downtown hotels, some parking out front. All in all, an ok gym, but definitely needs some TLC!

This place was everything I needed exactly when I needed it. I came here looking for programmed workouts and a change to my routine. I ended up getting highly skilled coaching, programming and a community of people that make me feel welcome. Whether you're a first time crossfitter, a seasoned veteran, a drop-in just passing through or a 60 year old who has never worked out before and feel it's time... you've got a place here. This place really embodies the statement: "CrossFit isn't for everyone, but it is for anyone."

After moving to CHS I tried a handful of different things and just never found the right fit for me. After baby #2 I wanted to try again... AOCF was running a challenge, 6 weeks of clean eating and at least 16 classes, setting goals, etc. I decided to go for it, a challenge is right up my alley and I knew the accountability would be good. Here's the thing, the places that left me feeling like it wasn't quite what I was looking for sometimes felt thrown together with classes (like 15 minutes of a body weight workout... if I'm coming for an hour class, I want to use that full hour and get the most out of my time). Also, I want good coaching... Kelly and Megan are awesome with this. And I found myself missing the community that I had built over time with CFA, AOCF has a really fun group of people and they are intentional about building community. So, I ended up being able to do a little over 5 weeks of the challenge (before going out of town for a bit). I dropped 17lbs and not only did my time get a lot better with the workout, but I can feel the changes, I feel better. I'm looking forward to continuing with AOCF and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to someone else!
