Outdoor wood fired brick pizza on a farm. Fresh air and lots of fun for all! The experience is amazing. From the hanging outside with friends, live music, kids playing on big hey bales, and a wonderful September sunset over the Wisconsin fields. The menu is just pizza, of which there is a limited variety. The ingredients are all locally sourced. This is great, but I do wish they would have put more toppings on. We ordered one grazer plus which seems to change the toppings s depending on when you go. The 'plus' was inclusion of sausage. Unfortunately it didn't have a large volume of toppings on it. It also appeared that the toppings were put on quickly, as only one slice had a bunch of kale. The sauce was a little too much and was mediocre. We waited over an hour for our pizza. Their website warns about this. I didn't mind, but just be prepared if you have young kids. They do have some organic sodas. Kids enjoyed the root beer and ginger ale. They have a very limited beer and wine selection. The place is pretty much picnic style, so it looks like you could bring your own. Bathrooms are a couple of outhouses. There is a large gravel parking area, which is about a block from where you order pizza. Don't forget folding chairs or blankets. There are maybe ten or fifteen picnic tables, but plenty of room. I visited Grassway Organics on our Weston A. Price group Madison, WI chapter's field trip & I was impressed by the food! I tried oyster mushroom & sausage gluten free pizza & sausage gluten free pizza & both were very good with plenty of toppings including the cheese. I like that this farm sells raw dairy & seems to be kind to their animals by giving the cows plenty of grass to eat & giving the dogs jobs like guarding the chickens. I also liked that you had a large non-alcoholic drink selection including boxed water & Wisco Pops Sparkle Pops. I would recommend this restaurant & store to other people!

We visited Grassway Organics at the end of August with a small group of friends for our first Wisconsin pizza farm experience! We arrived around 4:15 pm on a warm Saturday evening hoping to beat the dinner crowd, but it was already pretty packed. We brought our own camping chairs and picnic blanket, scouted out a spot on the grass, and went to place our pizza orders at the main counter. My husband and I ordered the Grazer Plus with the seasoned grass-fed ground beef ($30) that comes straight from their farm! There are also a few options for alcoholic beverages and sodas available. While we waited for our pizzas, we visited the horses in the nearby field, listened to the live music performance, and enjoyed good conversation and company. When your pizza is ready, they walk around and shout your name, so keep your ears out and be ready to get their attention! We had an amazing time, and the pizza was hot, fresh, and tasty (although needed a smidge of salt). It was definitely worth the short drive to East Troy from Milwaukee. Next time, I would probably come prepared with some pre-dinner snacks for the wait (especially if you are bringing kids) and some paper plates!

This place was awesome! I felt like I was transported to another place like Portland. It almost reminded me of a winery. Great music, great drinks, music and relaxing environment. I wanted badly to give this place 5 stars however there are certain necessities needed like salt and paper plates that brought the rating down.

We attended pizza on the farm. This is a one of a kind experience that you have to try if you like brick oven made pizza. Only pizza sold here so bring beverages for the kids. There is a limited bar menu as well but an amazing experience and the pizza is so fresh made with all organic foods from the farm!

My gf and I went here for Pizza night which occurs Friday and Saturday's from 4-8 pm. The view's are beautiful here and it truly feels like you are nowhere near Milwaukee. They typically have live music playing which gives a unique rural feel. Note: Seating is limited and they do not provide plates so I recommend bringing your own chair and perhaps plates (they do provide to go boxes for pizza that you do not finish). We ordered the Grazer Plus which has crimini mushrooms, summer squash, green onion, garlic scapes, basil , and pork sausage. We absolutely loved our pizza and everything tasted so fresh. Pizza was very cheesy which made it all the more delicious with large portions of pork sausage. Everything is grown on the farm and the wood fire pizza had crispy crust that was well done. Squash and mushrooms really complimented the meat well. They also have some local seltzers that were quite tasty and we did see others bringing their own beverages in. Pizza prices are more expensive than usual at $20-30, but considering this is essentially farm to table food that was a dinner and late night snack for the 2 of us, I think that is a great deal. Look forward to going back, and its not a bad drive from the highway for city people who have no clue where they are going

My husband and I were staying at a nearby hotel and needed a gluten free lighter option before a spa day. I'm so glad we found Green Grocer. It was packed. Not an empty seat in the place around 12:00 on a Saturday. We did have to circle around for parking as well, but only had to walk a short distance from across the street. I got a drip coffee with blueberry waffle flavor and cream. The coffee was very good. I believe they use Collectivo. The gluten free raspberry financier was even better. It was similar to a Madeline cookie, but larger and raspberry in the center. I would drive back just for the pastry. We also got sandwiches from the deli and two fountain drinks from bar. I loved my build your own turkey and Swiss with sprouts, lettuce, tomato's pickle, onion, mayo, mustard, and sub sauce on gluten free bread. The bar service was great too. I definitely recommend Green Grocer for sandwiches and coffee, especially if you want to avoid the craziness of downtown Lake Geneva. Seems like the locals know this place is fantastic as it was non stop busy.

Groceries are over priced. 15.00 for a half gallon of ice cream!…read more Tried the new roof top bar twice. The view is nice and there is plenty of seating with a small bar. First visit, the bar wasn't open. The lower bar bartender told us we could go up to the roof top but needed to bring our own dishes down. Second visit, large sign at entry said roof top bar was open. Several tables and all seats at the bar were full but no bartender on a very warm day. It rained earlier in the day so many of the tables and chairs were wet. We were able to go behind the bar to grab paper towels to clean off the seats. Again had to bring up drinks from the lower bar. Lower bar tender moves like a snail. After about an hour, a bartender shows up to the roof top and says she was watching the weather and decided to come to work. The lower bar is nice but why offer a roof top bar if you cannot service it. There were many customers that left frustrated at the lack of service. Hopefully management will get it together. This could be a great asset to our small town.
