We used both marina locations for our event, Haven Harour Marina and Haven Harbour South, just a couple miles apart, and the grounds are beautiful and well kept at both. The spectacular sunsets during the rehearsal and reception were just exceptional! Their team is very knowledgeable and skilled. They take great pride in doing it right. The marina had some places that needed attention, and they are getting it. The docks and seawall were re-worked over the past few years. Floating docks installed for some parts. The fuel dock was getting replaced last year. The shower house was renovated. We've been up and down the ICW several times now. Stayed at all sorts of marinas: corporate chain, town docks, fish camps,... This is a nice family owned and operated facility that really works hard to satisfy the boaters.

When he completed a standard gear…read moreoil change he did not inspect the lower drain plug for a gasket and per the diagram I gave him did not use a washer which was provided. This caused the gear oil to leak over my driveway. According to the dealer this is a standard practice to always use washers on all plugs on the lower unit. When asked to come back and fix the job despite paying him an additional 100 dollars. He refused. I would not recommend this mechanic on an outboard.

As the client you would think we would have updates and schedules but nah. He just keeps the boat and never returns emails or calls but has my credit card and charges me every month! In July the boat was supposed to be ready to sail but then it was overheating so ok - get the part and replace the heat exchanger and we will be rocking right! not so easy. He sticks me with $2000 for cleaning it and the part isn't ordered. Then the motor overheats during the sea trial and then the part is finally ordered but guess what...it never arrives. Three months later and it's still not replaced. Do yourself a favor. avoid this loser and take your boat to Long Cove.
