They assured me that they would clean the whole thing up. And you know what? THEY DID! Happily! They jumped right in and grabbed all the debris and bagged it and it weighed a ton! They were proud of the work they did. What impressed me most is that I truly felt that it was as important to THEM as it was to ME that the job was done right. The downspouts are required the HOA to be in drains underground. Schmuckers did three downspouts yesterday. One was done properly and the other two were not. One drains onto my driveway and the other onto my neighbor's property. We have an appt. next Wednesday to fix the one on the side that drains onto my neighbor's property. I was told by Schmuckers that I will have to hire a landscaper to fix the one that drains onto my driveway because pavers have to be lifted. I was told they don't do drainage and my husband wanted it like that.Yikes. I am hopeful they will show up and least do the one repair.

I have purchased three pool enclosures from Absolute Aluminum. Two in 2004 after Hurricane Charley…read more Those were done well with zero issues. The third was completed Nov. 2024 post Ian. The design and materials are adequate. The engineering, installation and finishing detail is low grade. There were several adjustments that needed to be made to get the gutters and downspouts to carry rainwater away from the building. The field crew just didn't have the know-how to fix them all. The back office tried to coach the crew on the phone and was successful in some repairs. But out of frustration I finally hired a local aluminum gutter company to fix it. Today was the first heavy rain. More leaks. Water poured through where the gutter meet the wall, flowed down the exterior wall and through my glass doors and flooded the back of my house, ruining much and creating an expensive mess. I will call my trusted local aluminum gutter company again to fix this, NOT ABSOLUTE ALUMINUM. And then I will call my lawyer.

I texted him a video of the downpour from the faulty gutters. He assured me that someone from their service department would be out to address the problem. I never heard from anyone. I reached out again to Chris in May and was told that he no longer worked there... but that someone from their service and warranty dept. would get back to me ASAP. Once again, never heard back from anyone. I left several messages in June, July and again today--- Not even the decency of a call back. Hopefully the owner will get this message and call me.

The installation Zeus requesting them to come out to our home - just to inspect the gutters and downspouts. I was happy to pay for whatever time it took to inspect and, if damages were noticed, to fix them. Again, I wasn't expecting any for free. I also totally understood that, post hurricane, Zeus, along with every other contractor, was busy. Crushed would be a better description. I waited until January 17, 2023 to ask again. And once again, I told Peter (Zeus) that I understood the "post hurricane busy" issue. I got a text back from Peter that said they would be at my place on March 1, 2023. April 12th, having not seen or heard from anyone at Zeus, I asked again. Peter a actually call3d me to,apologize and promise they would be out "soon". Today is July 8, 2023 and I am still waiting. Actually I have given up waiting and will move on from Zeus. Based on my experience, my suggestion to anyone looking for gutters and downspouts, is to find any other contractor. Even at double the price, the after install hassle just isn't worth it.
