We expected to ride our bikes for a mere 2 hours and looked ahead at the prices per hour, which we deemed reasonable. It's only when we come back from our 2 hour ride that we see we have collectively been charged $1,000 for a "deposit" regarding two bikes. Furthermore, this amount was never shared with us verbally or can even be found online. They then tried to charge the actual amount of the bike rentals on top of the $1,000. This is a hefty deposit for two bikes, and I've paid less to rent a boat for more than 2 hours. I don't want anyone else to be misled like I was, so I am leaving this review. I will never be back and I'll be sure to tell my family who vacations here annually, to also go elsewhere. It only gets two stars because the bikes worked for the two hours as bikes are expected to, just didn't appreciate the lack of communication and the shady business practices at play here. We will be following up with a letter to the chamber of commerce at Tahoe as practices such as these are predatorial.

Location was good with easy access to the trail and lots of parking. Service was good, no issues and found them very helpful. It was amazing with little snow flakes dropping as we took off on the ride. The full loop from shop to end of sand beach was just shy of 10 miles and it was beautiful. The shop has a 2 hour minimum which is perfect for making the loop and stopping at some sites along the way to grab photos and explore. They provide everything including bike locks and water bottles for your ride! All in all highly recommended and if you do it during off season the path is not busy so cruising was very relaxing.

Great bikes! I'm a cyclist, but this was my first time with an electric bike. We rented the fat…read moretire versions, and the 40 mile ride was super comfortable. On the flats and descents I used zero assist and got a great workout. Then I throttled up to a 3 and flew right up the steepest hills. I can only imagine how fast you'd move at the max assist of 5. My buddy used assist almost the entire time and had no problem. They have front shocks, so we did some off Roading, and even a technical stretch of trail - no problem. If you're riding on pavement, you can lock the shocks with a flip of the dial and it's just like riding a normal bike - with a boost. Ryan brought the bikes right to our resort, made sure he got everything adjusted for us, provided a quick tutorial on how things work (very simple), and returned the same time next day to pick them up. Ryan, we'll definitely be calling you next time we visit Reno or Tahoe!
