My wife and I received a gift of a couples massage and we just received it today. We both receive massages often and, to a degree, can be picky at times. Our GPS guided us to this brick building that was seemingly out of place in the middle of a neighborhood. Needless to say, we weren't sure what to expect and honestly, just thought this was a nice gesture from our friends, but weren't really convinced it would be as good as our regular place. However once we walked in, our "judge a book by its cover" perceptions changed immediately. The three ladies at the counter greeted us and made us feel right at home; I had water in my hand in 30 seconds!). The place was actually really nice inside and we felt very comfortable. Everything was explained clearly to us, and we were back in the room getting our massage debriefs in the matter of a minute or two (which were clear and - more importantly - concise) and began our massages within just a few minutes. I mention the expedience because I'm kind-of impatient and it impresses me businesses don't make you wait around. The massages were fantastic! STEPHANIE and SUMMER found and relieved points on us that we had never experienced before. They had the ability to adjust the pressure to be just right for both of us (which can be hard to do... again, because we are picky). I could go on, but I think you get the picture. I've now been to Gravity Spa twice in 2 months and while I'm still getting the hang of floating, I'm kinda obsessed already. I booked the float and massage packages and have floated first, then massaged and vice versa. I had a hard time the first float just relaxing and letting go. This second time, I knew what I was getting into...and was super relaxed from my massage to begin with. I will have to admit that I'm semi claustrophobic and was worried about feeling trapped. The tank is so spacious I really never felt like I couldn't get out. I have had to open the door both floats about midway (I lasted longer the second time around) just because the air feels heavy to me and a few mins later I'm back to my right mind and back to floating in the dark. I'm already planning my next adventure to try floating first again and hoping I will be able to fully relax and enjoy the serenity! I will say my massage by Anthony has been wonderful. I had the most amazing massage that I compare everyone to while in India... the work Anthony has done is rivaling that memory for me. I like firm pressure and deep tissue...and usually I get a good massage, but most times lately it's been a little lacking, so I'm glad I found Anthony to help me destress! read more

Had a superbly painful and therapeutic massage by Maretta. I booked the massage by phone, specifically requesting someone who specializes in providing athletic/sports massages for tough knots, not wanting a relaxing gentle massage. I saw that online booking was available where you can select different types of massages (aromatherapy, deep tissue, relaxation, sports, etc.) but I was skeptical and wanted to ask in person. The clerk scheduled me with Maretta and by the gods it was exactly what I needed. There wasn't 5 minutes that went by without a grunt or my face contorting as she pushed through some extremely tight muscles and tendons. Now there's a difference between good pain and bad pain, but let me assure you this was all good pain. Maretta even found some knots I didn't even know I had. I told her my back and thighs were usual sore spots and asked her to focus on those, but she found areas in my calves, chest, and lats and surprisingly had time to go through all those areas in addition to the areas I requested. 110% recommend Maretta for your sports massage needs. read more

I have great things about floating from friends and Facebook so I gave Gravity Spa I tried.. I loved being able to book online.. though I would have preferred an appt earlier in the day but they were none available.. when I called they told me most of the morning appts were taking by regulars.. anyhoo.. I choose a 90 min relaxation massage with Angie.. I have had tons of massages but never 90 min ones so I wanted to give that a shot.. it was one of the best Massages I have ever had... the pressure was perfect.. totally place on going back! After my massage I did a 90 min float.. this was my first time, staff was super friendly and answered all my questions. I really enjoyed the float but not sure I would do it again.. I have super dry skin and it seems hate the salt.. but we shall never know.. I would recommend doing a 60 Min float the first time.. read more

Filing Bureau of Health Complaint with Greene County Ohio on this place...stay away!! 1.) In a creepy building in a random neighborhood 2.) the big reason: dirty dirty dirty floats!!!! They make it dark so you can't see in there and then expect you to trust their employees that they actually clean their tanks!! Let me break this down for you....people go in these naked....then your supposed to trust that these employees really do a good job cleaning these out 30 minutes before the next person gets in the float!!!! Give me a break this has health concern written allllll over it!! Annie was an amazing therapist. I'm a thin woman, and therapists never go as deeply as I ask, but Annie did not hold back, and she got to deep spots in my muscles that I've been wanting someone to get into for years. Some folks don't like the odd location, but I love it. When you go to a chain place, you are paying for the unnecessary fancy atmosphere where they try to upsell you on products you don't need. When I come to Gravity, I know I'm going to be with folks who believe in the power of health and wellness and who are there because they really want me to feel my best. After a serious fall May 25 resulting in deep soft tissue damage to my left side including top ribs and pelvis, it took ten days before I could lift my left leg without assistance. When I arrived at Gravity this mornng, I still hard 30% strength and movement in my left leg along the constant pain with deep breaths or the stabbing pain just above the heart with a sneeze or cough. 90 minutes of deep tissue therapeutic massage under Maretta touch, I walked out at 75% movement. That movement has reduced all pain to moderat for me allowing me to increase PT for streangth. Anticipating 80-90% better after my appointments next week from previous recoveries from 12 knee surgery, including replacements. read more

I went for my 1st float and really enjoyed it! The staff were very welcoming and put me at ease, answering all of my questions/concerns. I did a 90-minute float and thought that was a good amount of time. It was relaxing and I did forget I was in water at some points. Almost seemed like I was laying on a cloud, the water surrounds you and holds you up. I think I fell asleep a few times. Right when I thought time was dragging the music turned on and I was done. I appreciate the free tea and fruit, it was nice to take my time afterwards and not be rushed. I will definitely be back for more floats, the peacefulness and calm stayed with me the rest of that day and even the next. read more

I love this place so much. I normally see Sarah but she was booked on Monday so I saw Maretta today for the first time. She did amazing work but ended up stopping after an hour when I'd booked 90 minutes. I didn't even realize until she came back in and apologized and continued the massage. She even offered me a complimentary float for the inconvenience even after I insisted multiple times that it wasn't a big deal at all. It was so nice of her! I'd been wanting to try the deprivation tank for a while and it was cool to be able to try it out today thanks to her. This spa is amazing and everyone has always been so courteous and nice. I've never had a massage before and to say I was nervous is an understatement. However the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and Anthony (the massage therapist) who took care of my time there was seriously awesome. He explained everything and helped me feel comfortable. I know there's probably an aversion to having a male therapist but let it go. I got the deep tissue full body massage with a float afterward. It was very relaxing and I've always had back problems so the fact that I am no longer in constant pain is so fantastic. I had the best service with Clara! She spent a significant amount of time working out my muscle tightness and fatigue. She knew exactly where to apply pressure to relieve an excessive amount of stress I had in my shoulders, back and neck. She was precise in hitting just the right spot(s)! She was extremely friendly and walked me through breathing techniques, and spent time explaining why she was hitting certain pressure points in my hands and feet. It was greatest experience! I experienced a massage and float for the first time today. My son gave them to me for a birthday present. I was very reluctant at first, but as soon as I entered the Gravity Spa I was put at ease by everyone. Nick was my therapist and knew it was my first massage. Nestled in the plats of Beavercreek is this wonderful center dedicated to peacefulness in the body. From the music gently playing, to the natural light and salt lamps, to the easy pace of the staff, it's a gentle reminder of our need to slow down and take appreciation of what our bodies need. My wife and I were searching for a place to do our Anniversary massages and came across the Gravity Spa in BeaverCreek. We had never done or heard of a flotation and decided to do the package deal of a 1 hour massage and a 1 hour float. The massage was great and very relaxing. The flotation is a very peaceful setting and you definitely lose track of time while in the machine. I had my first float at Gravity Spa, and I absolutely can not wait to go back! The environment is so calming and tranquil. The staff were very sweet and bubbly. The float room was clean, and had everything I needed to rinse off before and after my float. I haven't experienced anything like this, before. This place has a great staff group! This was my second time, the massage's are good and the float seem a lot different from the the first time. The first float was a new experience and I can see how some people can be freaked out from it. The second time was even better, I was out within five minutes of the float and slept like a baby!
