I had high hopes trying this place for the first time. My experience wasn't the greatest, I've had much better massages for cheaper. I waited about 15 minutes for the massage lady to come into the room. My therapist was overweight, so her belly kept pushing up against my head and body during the massage. She also had body odor that I was smelling. I had to turn my head further down in the headrest due to the odor. She threw in some snarky comments about me being "pidgeon toed" and made comments on my back anatomy. The Asian place I go to only charges $70 for 60 minutes while this place charges $90. read more

My credit card was then charged $20 more than what I signed for. Management acknowledged the overcharge and promised a refund within 2-3 business days, but after 15 days and a follow-up email, I still hadn't received the refund. I ultimately had to file a credit card dispute to recover the $20. We left feeling refreshed, renewed, and totally pampered. Royalty Rain is a hidden gem and we're already looking forward to our next visit. If I could give zero stars, I would. Initially, I was weary because of the reviews I read beforehand, but I thought that I would give the place a chance. First, I make an 1100 appt and they called me saying that there were 2 walk-ins and I'd have to wait 15 minutes. Annoying, but whatever, I'm flexible. Once I get to the room, she tells me to get settled and she'll be back. I'm not exaggerating when I say I was laying there, waiting for 20 minutes. I ended up walking out of the room to find the "masseuse" sitting at the front desk. She informs me she was "on her way to the room". Don't waste your time or money on this place. read more

This is the third time that I have been to Royal Rain Massage and Spa. The first two times were very good with Coria and Kiana., This time I had Shelly. I had booked a 90 minute massage on-line for 4 PM and showed up five minutes early. Upon entering I was told I would need to wait for 25 minutes because Shelly was with another customer. After a 50 minute wait, Shelly came out and said that she needed to prepare the room and it would be a few more minutes. My massage started an hour late. She told me that they do not have visibility to the on-line bookings and that the owners have to call over to tell them. That was not a great start, but I was still looking forward to a good massage. Unfortunately, 10 minutes into the massage I turn around and Shelly is texting on her phone and then a while later she took a call during the massage. After another15-20 minutes there is a knock on the door and Shelly has a brief conversation and tells me she needs to leave for a minute. So far 95% of the massage has been with one forearm and an elbow. After she returns she continues to seem distracted in her efforts so I turn back around and ask her if she's still texting on her phone. With her phone in her hand and the message app open she says "no, I'm not texting on my phone". Shortly after that, she said the massage was over and to meet her out front. Mind you, this was 65 minutes into a 90 minute massage. When I walked to the front I said, so I guess you turned this into a 60 minute massage. She said yes, that will $85. Normally I don't write bad reviews ... I just let it go, but today I left more frustrated and much less relaxed than when I arrived. Very disappointed. read more

I have been to Royalty Rain several times and always left feeling very refreshed. My wife and I went for a couples massage and they had a gentleman working there for a while who worked on my wife. My massage was decent, but she talked about hers and how great it was for quite some time. She was very impressed. Although I do not think he works there any longer. It would be nice if they cleaned the place up a bit both inside and out. It isn't the cleanest massage place I've been to, that is for sure. I don't feel comfortable anywhere else getting a massage. They do a great job and very relaxing.
