Parking sucks, sometimes mean people, strict pool program. Got mad at me bc i parked somewhere for 10 mins.

Whenever I get a pimple on my ass, I will refer to it as a Grayhawk. That's how little respect I have for this organization. Ownership will nickel and dime you into the grave while trying to gaslight you into thinking that they're doing you a favor. They provide you a place to call home, but they do not care about you beyond the amount of money they can squeeze from your wallet. Here is the best example I can give about the level of integrity that is running Grayhawk: on Aug. 25th, we notified them of our intent to vacate at the end of Sept (a full five weeks notice). They told us to reach out again on Sept. 1 to make it official. I sent another notice on Sept. 1, and they said they had to evaluate all 30 day notices at the same time, so they would let us know if they approved it once they had all the others. Five days later, they respond telling us they will not let us move out. I badgered them relentlessly for two days until they agreed to let us move out at the end of Sept (for a HEFTY fee), and when they sent me the move out document, it included a charge for $300 of prorated rent for 7 days in Oct. because they recorded my 30-day notice as active on the date that THEY finally agreed to let me move out instead of when I actually told them we were moving out. I was told that if I object to the prorated rent that they would take the entire move-out offer off of the table (there is a word for this, it's called EXTORTION). They smiled in my face while they stabbed me in the ribs. They'll jerk you around for weeks at a time and then charge you for every possible thing they can get because people's lives don't matter when there is a bottom line to protect. This is shameful, toxic, and parasitic business practice of the lowest class. Not everyone at Grayhawk is to blame. The maintenance and grounds crew are great, and Bailey in the front office is a doll. We actually found the apartment to be fine with the exception of the AC system. The intake vent is in the corner of the living room, so it sounds like a garbage truck is idling in the room whenever it kicks on. AC delivery vents to other rooms don't work at all, so get an extra fan for your room. Advance notice to the keyboard warrior running PR damage control at Grayhawk, don't bother posting your mealy-mouthed garbage about how important this feedback is to Grayhawk unless you plan on refunding the BS prorated rent that you extorted from me upon moving out. read more

Seriously that one star is solely for the maintenance team. They are the only people who are actual decent human beings at this complex. For being how expensive they are, you'd think you would be getting a lot more. We went through at least 3 different upstairs neighbors in the 2 years we rented here and they got louder every time. Every. Single. Footstep. We could here their conversations word for word! We could hear vacuuming at 3 am?!! And the office won't do anything about it. They tell you that you need to go talk to them. Like it's my job to keep their other tenants respectful. There is absolutely no insulation whatsoever. So if you have an apartment with kids above you? Goodluck. The amenities are broken 80% of the time which is asinine. What a waste of money. It was just my husband and I living there. No kids. No pets. And we are EXTREMELY clean and rarely home. Upon moving out we scrubbed that place down. They give you a paper upon move out of what needs to be cleaned, and we checked nearly every single thing off. And we got NONE of our deposit back AND they charged us more on top of it! It is ridiculous and honestly they need to be taken to court over it. I can't even begin to explain how pissed off I am at the ownership of this hellhole. We tried calling after receiving our bill because they charged us for lightbulbs AND NONE OF OUR LIGHTBULBS WERE OUT! They charged us for a missing mail key which was returned with all of our other keys so if they lost it they are now making us pay for it?? And so much more. They refused to change any of it. The poor front desk woman was so kind and I'm sure she gets this call all the time based off the other reviews, but it's because this place freaking sucks. RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL ASSISTANT MANGER (CHRISTINA) Me and my family were in the game room. She walks in and announces to everyone "me and my family want a turn" we politely said okay got up and began to clean up. She rudely stared at us and began to tell her grandkids "now we have to sanitize the room" We left to the pool area to grill and chill out at the pool. 30 minutes later she and her grandkids walked in. We stayed at the pool for an hour and a half and around 9:30 pm Christina came back to our group and proceeded to tell us that we needed to leave because we weren't residents. It was extremely disrespectful... her customer service needs TONS OF WORK. We then started to clean up and she came back a second time and began to yell at us again to get out. SHE HAD 5 KIDS VISITING AS WELL... If you all are setting "new rules for covid" you need to make sure your own staff are following the same rules and setting the example... Unethical, predatory, and discriminatory. Needed a year lease for an out of state move. In all my years as a property manager myself, I've never come across a landlord more predatory and unethical. First of all, way overpriced units. Second, they nickle and dime you on top of that for everything, and it changes monthly at their will. They "guess" on your water usage, wich is illegal. Little lone ridiculous they charge for it. Then they decided to get a trash compactor and charged for it. You HAVE to purchase direct tv and internet from them (they say) even though that is completely illegal since 2008. On move out, not only did we pay THOUSANDS to end the lease early, but, they charged us around $500 for "crumbs behind the fridge". Literally. Was supposed to pull the damn fridge out. The place was immaculate on move out. They have Fox News playing in the lobby. Enough said about the mentality and ideology. Will do my part in ensuring their reputation follows them. Grayhawk, you should be ashamed of yourself. Edit: Grayhawks parent company has now responded, foolishly. They are further engaging in inaccuracies and untruths with random talking points that don't address anything. This is not a "miss-characterization". This is a verbatim, literal experience. Carpets were cleaned professionally voiding (unethical and ridiculous) portion of their lease that you must clean them as per their comment. Additionally unit was cleaned professionally, which is not even required. Don't tell me to call a number to discuss it. You had the opportunity to fix it, many, many times, and I told you that you'd be unhappy charging for literal crumbs behind the fridge. And now, you're reputation will follow you. Don't you dare tell me again that I "miss-characterized" anything or I will show you the legal definition, and you will be responsible. Keep it up. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU RENT HERE!!!! In my current lease it states that there is one specific parking space for ONE parking pass that is for COVERED parking. The other parking pass is open for ANY NON COVERED PARKING SPACE. I received a parking violation by "das towing" on (7/7/20) saying that my car has expired tags and that my car will be towed if im not moved out of that parking space by (7/10/20). Now i have a 30 day permit in my rear window from the DMV because it is a new car, So there's the first flaw in this i never should have got this notice or threat. I took the notice to the front office and i was informed that the blonde woman had put the sticker there and i said "I got this notice for expired tags but there is a 30 day permit in my rear window." and she responded with "yes there is a permit BUT..." But what? That right there is proof she falsely gave me the notice!! "but you are parked in someones space." so i said ok not a big deal and walked out. I got back to my car to check as i already knew there was no assigned number or sign that stated i was parking in someones spot considering i knowingly parked there (pictures below show there is no sign or number for this one spot and you notice how there is a sign or number for the others close to that spot). So now we are at two flaws in this situation. So then i was curious about the towing company and turns out there is NO SUCH THING as "das towing" in Saint George! So there confirms the other reviews stating unethical, predatory, and now flat out in the wrong behavior from the employee(s) at Grayhawk Apartments. read more

We lived at Grayhawk for a year and a half. It was awful! The apartments look nice but there's no soundproofing between the walls and floors and the floors are plywood so they constantly crack and squeak. You hear every footstep and word spoken from your neighbors all around you. We heard every step the upstairs neighbors made and it sounded like they were wearing concrete blocks on their feet. They had a 5 year old that ran, and jumped and skipped and danced and screamed all day long. We heard it all. The dad must have been an insomniac because he paced all night long. We went to management several times but nothing was done to correct the situation long term so we ended up spending as much time outside the apartment as we could. We paid for an apartment that we barely used. Finally, they moved out and a single guy moved in so we were hopeful that we'd finally get some peace and quiet. But the guy bought a puppy that doubled in size every few weeks . The puppy had endless energy and it sounded like a horse clomping around all the time. It was unbearable. Finally our lease was up and we could move out. Greatest day of our lives. Besides all that there was constant construction noise and dust for a year. The a/c and heater were so noisy in the apartment that you couldn't have a conversation or listen to the TV if they were running. Parking is always a problem. Overall the people that live there have little consideration for their neighbors. They clomp up and down the stairs, slam doors, break things, leave trash lying around, smoke where they shouldn't. Your apartment should be your sanctuary, quiet and peaceful. Not so at Grayhawk. We moved into a different apartment in downtown St George and it's quiet and clean and the management is on top of everything. Finally, some peace and quiet. read more

BEWARE! A bunch of con artists. Please please do not rent here. Air conditioner is way too loud and barely works. The walls are ridiculously thin that you can hear everything going on next door. The finished look nice until you realize they're cheap and falling apart. THEY ARE BUILDING A HOMELESS SHELTER ON THE PROPERTY. Pool card was turned off and they said it'd be turned on Monday morning right away because it only takes a minute. Get to the pool with all of our stuff just for it to not work. Called them and they said it would get turned on around five after previously saying it'd be on right away in the morning. I'm only here for a few days and can't even use the amenities I pay a ton for because they haven't turned it back on. Not to mention I can never find parking unless I want to pay an additional $25 a month for premier parking. read more

I moved out of grayhawk 2 days ago and I am very relieved. Let me start out on a positive note and say that the maintainence guys do a nice job. They keep the place clean and the manager will return your calls in a timely manner on simple, basic questions or concerns. First of all when you are applying as a tenant here you may spend two week getting approved. I am retired and have ample savings and they repeaedtly wanted the same or more info. Generally i have been approved in a few minutes. The leasing agents act as if they don't want to be bothered. Much is needed for improved customer service from them. I had a heavy drug user(suspected dealer) two floors below me. Management did very little to resolve this. I went to the police station twice to fill out reports. The police got so sick of the calls from several tenants they were very reluctant to come out any more. Management just keeping saying to call the police and vice versa. This went on for months. No one should have had to go thru this. Your white key card doesnt work the best. Why not try using a fob or something. The noise from the ac is very loud. Very few buildings have elevators and washers/dryers arent included. Lastly the night before I moved out my car was towed. How about giving us a sticker to put on our windshields. This I would compare to college dorm living and not upscale apartments. read more

Christina the assistant manager was very disrespectful to me and my guest. She kicked us out when it was convenient to her and her guests. She was very immature and placed a very bad image on their management. Will never bring family/friends to this facility again!! read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I'll start at the beginning, my finace and I are looking for a new place to live, planning on moving in in August we began looking around in May, we applied and completed our application and paid our application fee of $200. A few days after we completed our application we called to make sure we weren't missing anything on the application, the lady we spoke to said we had completed the whole application and we were all set. Fast forward until 1 week before we were supposed to move in, I called the office and asked if I could have the mailing address so I could have a package shipped there so it would arrive a few days after we arrived, the office informed me that our application was not complete and they hadn't even started to process our application yet and told me we could not move in until September 1st, about 3 weeks after we had originally scheduled to move in. I said to put us on the list for that apartment but I was going to look for somewhere else to live. Later that day I found a different place and I called greyhawk, no answer, called the next day a couple of times, no answer left 2 messages. Called the next day, no answer so I give up on calling as I figure they must have listened to my message. Anyways a couple of days later i'm not able to get to my phone when Greyhawk finally decides to try to call me back. So they call my EMERGENCY CONTACT, who is my father. He doesn't pick up and ask me why this weird apartment is calling asking for my personal information for "more lease information". I explained the situation and be blocks the number. Then they called my finaces emergency contact who is her mother and asks for the same thing. I called Greyhawk after this asking them why they are calling my emergency contact, the lady on the phone claims that my father had called them first and she was just returning his call which is absolutely untrue. Anyways I asked if I could have my application fee refunded based on the circumstance and she says that she will need to ask her manager and she will call me back later that day, no surprise she never called me back. I called them a few times, still no response. I never even started to rent from this place but if this is any indication of how they treat there residence I can't imagine why anyone would ever rent from this place. They just ignore any calls or messages you will leave for them and the staff is horribly unorganized. Don't be fooled by the nice show apartment they have for perspective renters this the staff will treat you like crap and never return your calls. Rent from anywhere else in Saint George. read more
