Each project was completed as agreed, and any overages were communicated well in advance and were more than reasonable. Gary has a great ability to coordinate a ton of subs and get the work done in time. The finish work, what I am most concerned about, is terrific. The workmanship is second to none. I found whenever I left a voicemail, I would be called back immediately. Sure, any large project (and mine were very large) there will be issues, but there is no better person to deal with these issues than Gary and Shoreline Construction. From the Code Enforcement to state inspectors, all seem to respect the work that Gary does. I cannot recommend more highly.

All went quickly and smoothly again. This time we had Mike in charge of the whole job. Dealing with Mike was easy and constantly made us feel confident that all was going well. After thrashing about with the start date for my roof project (roofing crew had truck trouble that…read morekept on being trouble) Seacoast managed to hire a father-son team to get the roof started. If these two had been able to do the job, I would be writing a 5 star review. They were not just roofers, they were Craftsmen. The Dad hurt himself, though, and had to leave the jobsite as it was, with his ladders and staging still in place. It took weeks for Seacoast to find someone to finish the job, and when they did, I was out of town, so I didn't get to see the work being done. When I got home I could see that the roof was finished. The shingling is fine, and--credit where it is due--there was no junk in the yard... the front and back of the barn were spic- n-span. No nails, no trash on the ground. Unfortunately, my gutters were full of construction debris, so I had to clean that out myself. And MEGA-unfortunately, the rotten roof decking-- **the reason I need a new roof in the first place**-- WAS NOT REPLACED. They put membrane and shingles over rotten decking, and weirdly-spaced old-build decking that clearly needed to be replaced. AND. The ladders that occluded my barn access and the staging were left where they were. You could see that someone started to take it down but they stopped. The Roof was done 25 September The ladders would still be there now if my stepson the carpenter hadn't come over and taken everything down himself on OCTOBER 27. (not Seacoast's fault, but the dumpster left considerable divots in my driveway. No plywood was used under the wheels, and it was there for 2 months.) Seacoast has been blasé about leaving that equipment in my way, and stopped replying to my texts. The 1 star is for the Father-Son team. Not happy about Seacoast's apparent indifference to quality and my desire for a clear driveway.

We bought a home that included an aging sunroom. When necessity dictated a replacement, we had a…read morehard time figuring out what to do. Glass, wood and metal all expand at different rates, we were advised, and even a high-quality new stick built room would be vulnerable to deterioration and leaks. We hired an architect to help us find a contractor, and eventually landed on Sunspace Design. They designed and built a room that was better than the one it replaced, and had a novel roof design. It was not inexpensive but it wasn't the most expensive option either. Five years into living with their work, I am finally getting around to writing this review. The room is gorgeous and looks as beautiful as it did the day they finished it. We live in it all year long. This is the best contractor experience I have ever had - thank you sunspace design!
