Since we were coming from different areas, this was the closest place for a quick lunch. We did get a table for 7 quickly but the service was slow. Our waitress was nice, but lacked attention to our table. The food was meh. Unfortunately, it arrived luke warm. Probably sitting and waiting too long. Visited this tavern with a friend who I was catching up with on a packed Saturday. I tried the peanut butter and jelly burger with added bacon and pepper jack cheese under the advisement of my server. That burger did not disappoint and was very unique but yet delicious. I arrived at this restaurant that opens at 9 AM at 9:25. It actually serves breakfast which shocked me... And I was meeting someone cause it was my birthday and we walked into a pretty empty place, but it was only 9:30 in the morning. we were greeted nicely, given several varieties of menus and I asked for suggestions since I've been trying to get in this place for over five years without success due to the queen of hearts game that goes on starting 1 April, so lunch is pretty tough with Dinner next to impossible. The restaurant is absolutely huge. I can see parking being a problem but in the evening all the side businesses probably have their lots filled up. This is a wonderful place to go. I ordered three breakfast bacon tacos, which were super great. The bacon was crispy. The eggs were cooked, fluffy and hot on sort of a toasted kind of a taco shell. There were three minis, and they were great. My cohort in crime ordered veggie omelette that I can't recall its name but they do have names for every one of their dishes. My diner friend is like me diabetically speaking said no toast and no potatoes with his omelette which came with toast and potatoes as do most of their breakfast options. Both of our meals were great. They were hot. They were tasty. They were presented well. This is a great place to go so now that I've tried breakfast. I'm definitely going for lunch and I'm going back a third time for dinner. I can see what all the hype is especially if a chef can turn out breakfast perfection at 9:30 in the morning, which is just the beginning of his very very long day. I am sure --this is a great one. This is a bar with regular bar food. But they also have breakfast. Who knew. The breakfast menu is not huge but it hits the basics. You have some omelets, french toast, eggs and bacon, a breakfast sandwich and wrap. All in All I was pleasantly surprised. I got the wrap with bacon and it comes with potatoes. It was grilled and pretty good. Potato's were good and the wrap was really good. Everyone else enjoys their breakfast as well. They have coffee too. It's a sports bar so there is tv and such around. It's a pretty big space and they have a patio too. Plus they have videos around and you can see yourself on them. It's also a queen of hearts location. It's in a strip plaza right off 480/Grayton Rd. Easy to get to and find. Parking lot is kinda small. The service was good. Food came out fast. Prices were ok. My only complaint is that on the regular menu they don't have prices. You have to go to the website to see prices. That's kind of a pain. I get you want to change prices but no prices on the menu is more of a pain for your customer than you having the cost of you reprinting the menus when you change the price. So you might as well just go to the website and forget their menu. Which again is probably the point. But it annoyed me. Not enough to not go back. Stopped in here for lunch. Seems like a popular lunch spot. Was busy but the bartender was attentive. Ordered a side salad and added eggs. It was delicious and a big portion. There was various types of lettuce in the salad and the topping were all fresh. The ranch was flavorful and seemed homemade. I ordered the white pizza with pepperoni and onions. We stopped here today for a drink and some lunch and it was one of the worst experiences ever. I ordered a cup of soup and the California club sandwich and I asked the waitress 3x to be sure to bring my soup before the sandwich. She assured me she would bring it right away, she did not. Whatever I got past that and she apologized. Then my sandwich that was supposed to have avocado and a garlic sauce on it had neither. She took it away and brought the same sandwich back with a smear of guacamole on half of each half, and the garlic sauce in a cup. The menu clearly says avocado, not guacamole there is a huge difference. And the garlic sauce was the most oily nasty stuff I've ever tasted. I ate half of a half sandwich and the waitress never asked me how it was or if there was anything she could do to fix the situation. Also when ordering the sandwich when I asked for the soup, she said to me "did you want the soup as your side" and so naturally I said yes because I did not want french fries. She never said there was any type of up charge and since the menu has zero prices on it, I assumed it was in place of the fries because that is how she worded it. When I asked her to take the $4.50 for the soup that I was told would be my side, she copped a major attitude and mumbled something nasty under her breath as she walked away. I don't fault the waitress at all for the sandwich being disgusting. But she told me the soup was my side and never mentioned an up charge, she didn't bring my soup like I asked three times, nor did she ever ask me if there was anything she could do to fix the situation. I I mean clearly I didn't like the sandwich 3/4 of it was left on the plate, she didn't ask if I wanted a box to take it home or if there was something wrong with it. For $16 I would've expected a replacement or a discount at the very least, not an attitude. We will never go back there was a horrible experience. read more

For being a bar, GRT has surprisingly good food. The party of 4 I was part of really enjoyed everything. We had a mix of vegetarians and carnivores, and everyone left happy. Their salads were so good and fresh, and full of quality ingredients. Plenty of vegetarian options here. I ended up at Grayton Road Tavern on a Sunday evening after hearing a lot of good things about it. When we entered the restaurant, I was pleased to find it well-kept and surprisingly spacious for a bar and grill--plenty of room to relax and enjoy. It took a few moments for our server, Miriam, to reach our table (it wasn't that busy, but I like to think she was perfecting her "walking with a purpose" strut). We ordered a couple of appetizers to kick things off while we perused the menu. They arrived quickly, which was great, as I was starting to feel the hunger pangs. After enjoying those, we placed our orders for the main event: two burgers and a Reuben. By this time, it was just us and another table in the dining area, so I figured we were in for a smooth ride. However, a few minutes later, three other tables came in and had their orders taken. About an hour passed, and those tables received their food and left while we were still waiting. I decided to check in with a staff member (not our server, who seemed to have vanished) to see if everything was okay. He assured me it would be just "a few more minutes." Twenty minutes later, our server finally appeared and informed us they had made a mistake with our order and had to remake one of the burgers. At this point, we were ready to cheer just for the acknowledgment after an hour and twenty minutes! If we'd been any hungrier, I might have considered snacking on the napkins. But when the food finally arrived, our server apologized, and let me tell you: everything tasted fantastic! Our bellies were full, and we left happy. I know hiccups happen, so I'm not giving a negative review. With a bit more communication, this could have easily been a 4 or 5-star experience. Been in before but this is my first review of Grayson Road Tavern. This visit was Monday, evening August 5th, 2024. I honestly stopped because I heard they welcome dogs on their patio and was going to have a beer with my buddy. The patio bartender was exceptional. She saw me come in with the dog and quickly stepped inside and got a bowl of water. She asked what she could get me to drink and asked if I like to see a menu (remember the plan was to have a quick beer). I said yes and she presented me a menu and brought a menu specifically for my dog (with food offerings and a dog beer list). What a great place!!! Shame that I just fed her. I ordered a burger and my pup settled in on the deck. We were in the shade. She refreshed often from the water bowl. My burger arrived - perfectly medium rare. The burger and fries were more than enough to satisfy. Can't wait to go back. Plan will be to order the pup some food and drink. Thanks for the great time. read more

Ok, so needed a place to eat and Grayson road tavern popped up as close by so figured we would give it a try. It looks small but it is huge in side with lots of TV's and huge wall tv's. Most of the tables were full and only a few seats at the bar. Asked the bar staff what they recommend and they had a special which was fish and fries or a fish sandwich. The guy next to us said the wings and burgers are great. Ordered the fish and wings. WOW - huge portion of battered fish and fries and the wings were not your standard small wings either. Lots of food and good food. Everyone was friendly and lots of people at the bar chatted with us and each other. Really welcoming friendly place. People there were young to older people watching sports, having a beer, eating and everyone seemed pleased. Would recommend and will return read more

Sticks (marinara is DELICIOUS) and the Santa Fe Chicken Salad. 10/10. Salad is big enough for 3-4 folks seriously. All the veggies were fresh and crisp. Flavors very complimentary. Grayton Road Tavern came highly recommended, so I decided to try it for lunch yesterday. The food was decent, though it didn't quite live up to the praise I'd heard. The sliders were just okay, and the chili, while flavorful, wasn't hot enough. Since the food took a long time to arrive, I just ate it as it was. However, my biggest complaint is the lack of pricing on the menu. A small crock of chili--so-called--turned out to be nearly $10, which I would never willingly pay for chili. When I asked the server about the cost of other items, she admitted that everyone asks about the missing prices, but she didn't know why they were left off. Personally, I wouldn't go back. A menu without pricing feels more fitting for a New York eatery, not a small-town bar and grill. read more

Food and service has been going down hill pretty rapidly. Came here on Memorial Day, sat on the covered deck with the dogs. One server for 12 full tables plus the bar. If you don't have the manpower to operate your business, then don't open it. Or if your greedy ass can't help yourself, then maybe don't spread your staff so thin that people have to wait 30 minutes to get a drink refill. I won't be coming back. read more
