The receptionist was curt and abruptly disconnected the call without warning. As a result, I have arranged care elsewhere. As a physician and small business owner, I understand how critical front-office interactions are to a practice's reputation. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve future client experiences.

Having always been made to wait around endlessly in the consulting room at prior appointments, which made our dog anxious, we opted to be outside. We were kept waiting for 20 minutes, a lifetime when faced with such a deeply emotional event. I sat in a chair and held my dog close to my chest as Dr Crosetto gave him his "sedative". Moments later, he became bewildered and panicked and tried to get off my lap. I held on so tight as he pulled his body rigid and howled out in pain and then went completely limp in my arms. Dr Crosetto came back out and had to give two shots instead of one before his heart finally stopped. I am traumatized as I lay awake nights reliving what appeared to be torture. How do I find peace, when I actually paid someone to treat him this way! I have had many pets put to sleep over the years and all of them passed peacefully in my arms. In an attempt to put this behind me, I sent Dr Crosetto/Upper Keys Veterinary Hospital an email asking for an explanation for my pets panic, pain and distress that day. My email of May 1st has been met with silence. I'm desperate to put this behind me and in the hope of some good coming out of this dreadful experience, I share this in memory of my precious pet who deserved so much better.

It was the middle of the night on a rainy weekend and I expected the B team and mediocre service, if I was lucky. Bad enough that I had to drive with one hand through a heavy storm with one hand while I held the shaking dog with the other. All the while having my two little girls on speaker phone, crying because they thought they killed the dog. I arrived with white knuckles on my steering wheel hand and totally frazzled from the drive and freaking out, crying kids. Much to my pleasant surprise, the team at this hospital was top notch. They were attentive, professional, thorough and very empathetic. It was so good that I think I will have to shift my schedule and go there for regular visits. I cannot say a enough good things about them. Lastly, it was encouraging that after eveything, the bill for service was also reasonable. Well done night shift team! Thank you Date of service was April 11th, 2023

Everything Dr. Eastman and his team did for Jack was nothing short of heroic. It was a horrible thing to have happened, but we felt truly cared for and supported by these skillful, loving, and very compassionate people. they literally cried with us when we lost Jack. We only knew that Jack had problems with his spine, but Dr. Eastman said something else must've been going on that was missed. I only wish we had come to him sooner. to see that much compassion for A pup they had never seen before really touched our hearts. we flew my stepson into Miami from college in the hopes that he would be able to see Jack before he passed but unfortunately, that didn't happen. Yet they allowed us the time to come back with him so that he could have a final goodbye with Jack and they gave us the space and the time that we needed without rushing us. they have a special candle with a notice that they light in the front when people are grieving the loss of their fur babies. I saw it on my way out and was really moved by that. We will forever be grateful to these beautiful people for their love and compassion in a very difficult moment. They were nothing short of heroic in my book. Tina, Esteban, the two young ladies (I blanked on their names) and Dr Eastman were amazing. Thank you.

The women who seems to runs the place (Marsha) is an absolute nightmare. Rude, abrasive, and unkind. We made a horrible choice to take our dog in to get spayed there. We were so grateful as spaying a dog is quite pricey. Now I am so angry at myself for putting a price tag on my dogs health. She had a complication in surgery. We could of lost her. The way Marsha handled delivering the news was callous at best. When we came in she said "you drove me crazy" referring to the fact that we had called several times to check in on our dog after hearing she had issues in surgery. Excuse me? Was I a bother to you for caring about our dog? How about some compassion, or basic professionalism. I asked if the dog should be on antibiotics because of the complication. I was told to talk to our regular vet. I called our vet the next day and was told that sending our dog home without antibiotic script after what happened when a vet was present was a gross negligence. I'm sick. The way they brought her out to us...for people who are there to help animals it seemed as though there was very little regard for how she felt. Spend the money go to your vet. You get what you pay for sometimes. This place is shady. I would be very interested to look into the money flow in this "coalition". Privatized country animal shelter...very interesting. Who is benefiting from this place exactly. Half assed animal care by disgruntled employees. This botched spay will end up costing me more in the long run. Now I am taking my poor dog who is in so much pain to our regular, experienced, and competent vet to fix this. I feel so sad for the strays then land in this place. Imagine if my dog didn't have us to advocate for her. Would she have even made it out alive. Honestly, probably not.
