The brisket was good, but I would've preferred a fattier cut because I think it would have been more flavorful. My wife and I each got one of the chicken cutlet sandwiches. Enormous amount of lightly breaded chicken French bread that you can barely (or not quite for some) get your mouth around. I could have used a bit more moisture on some of the toppings to offset all the bread and chicken, but it was still very tasty. Visited on a Sunny day at 9am on a Wednesday and their donut case was full of treats! And they were tasty. Walked out with 2 glazed donuts for $2.xx before gratuity. Michelle, the owner, was very polite and welcoming. I've been to Daylight Donuts for a breakfast party before and it was such a great time. Daylight Donuts have been catered to events I've attended and their donuts are always a bit hit. The shop is full of mini Polaroid pictures on the walls that many patrons have taken and posted. All of it is a riff on loaded fries except tator tots are used instead. The portion size was quite nice, the workers were very friendly, and the dish arrived quickly despite the steady line of people placing orders.
