MCE Arrived prepared with everything needed to transform a terribly overgrown, newly acquired property, which had been terribly neglected. I figured since it was going to be no charge, I'd get a little bit of help. My expectations were highly exceeded. Front, back, and side yards all weeded, weed-wacked, mowed, raked, leaves blown and removed (driveway too,) hedges trimmed, and massive amounts of sticks and debris all taken away, 3 trips to the dump. The job was enormous, and despite over 8 hours in grueling heat they came back the next day to finish the job! I cant thank them enough for getting my yard on the way to recovery. Tristan is an honest, really hardworking, enterprising business man; who listens to what you want done and has great ideas of how to fix problems. Crugnale was the second least expensive quote we got, but seemed to be the most professional and had the best customer service. When we first talked about the job with Crugnale they were very friendly and outlined different options. They did not push us to do something more expensive, but gave the cost of each option and a description of the pros and cons of those options. This was the key point that made us choose them: they seemed like they wanted to help us get the lawn we wanted giving us all the options instead of like they wanted to just get as much money from us as possible. They did the work very quickly. We had many questions along the way about our new grass and Mike and Chris were always very helpful and responsive. They even came by to check on how the grass looked to give us feedback on the maintenance. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! DO NOT use this company for anything landscape or stonework…read morerelated!!!! We used this firm years ago to design & landscape our new home. Inexperienced group of people that led to a poorly designed yard that we have spent years trying to reconfigure and fix. A poorly designed yard with overgrown shrubs & trees in the wrong locations. We spent large amounts of money on a poor design. We spent a ridiculous amount of money on hundreds of plants -- most of which died on us -ROOKIE MISTAKE - right plant - wrong location! Since then we've had to hire and spend thousands of dollars to correct their mistakes. It's almost 10 years later and we are still fixing their mistakes. Trees were planted either too shallow or too deep. We had to hire arborists to evaluate & correct these issues as well. Again rookie mistake. We ended up with a ridiculous amount of plants - overplanted - yard was a disaster! They couldn't even plant sod correctly! They delivered sod in the late late fall full of disease. In the spring my brand new home and brand new window treatments wereinfested with these tiny bugs - I had to call a couple of specialists to investigate & resolve which took almost two years and involved looking at the bugs under a microscope. They also did a large amount of stone work for us -patios & stone walls -- all of which has had to be re-grouted several times due to them rushing thru the project but again a ROOKIE MISTAKE -- they tried grouting in the freezing cold. -- did not work. I would NOT USE this company for anything!
