Grease Monkey seems to be the area's basic equivalent to Jiffy Lube, Valvoline and the like, that I used before moving here. They seem to be very professional, courteous and informative when it comes to the basic service I went there for. I'd gone there during the winter to get Nitro in my tires, while I was also planning on getting my usual 3,000-mile oil change. It was the good folks at Grease Monkey who explained that these days, and with the 2003 car I have, oil doesn't really need to be changed more often than 5,000 miles -- I'm old school, and have always used 3,000 as the rule. Point being, they didn't have to tell me what they did -- it showed that they were more interested in good service, over agreeing to a premature oil/filter change, and making money when it wasn't necessary. I passed on the option for synthetics and combos thereof, and went for the basic 30-weight oil. Folks were very friendly like I'd mentioned. Since I don't work, I went and drove by there when it looked as though they weren't taking care of many customers, so I don't think I was there longer than 25 minutes, and got everything done. There were no high pressure sales for unnecessary things either, which I appreciate. What a great experience I had today at this shop. I noticed that a plastic piece under the front bumper of my rental car was loose. Two things concerned me 1) that it may come off while driving and create all kinds of havoc 2) that the rental company would blame me. I knew perfectly well that I hadn't driven the car in anyway to cause it. I won't use this rental car company again because it's the 2nd car I've had from them with problems. In any event the team here were very professional, friendly and quick to figure out how to fix it. It took some definite problem solving which I think they enjoyed. Their pricing was extremely fair on top of that. I'll be moving to this area in a few years and hope they maintain all their good qualities. I surely would go back. read more

Great team, coffee and bottled water while you wait and the prices are much more reasonable than the dealership. They keep track of your vehicle through computer record keeping and they e-mail great coupons. Oil and filter start at 19.99 so it is easy on your wallet. read more

Not satisfied! No confidence in their work! Not saying they can't do the work, just don't trust them to do it! My grandfather checked his air filter before getting an oil change. It was fine and didn't need to be changed. He said the rim around the filter was blue. While getting his oil changed, an employee came out with an air filter asking if he wanted his air filter changed because it looked pretty bad. The rim of the filter was orange. read more

Nothing fancy, but they do a good job of routine maintenance for your car. I've been there a couple of times and never had to wait more than 45 minutes or so for the complete service. read more

Nice guys, but they said they could fix my a/c problem but after the work was done it still was broken. They said there was nothing else they could do because they didnt have the right tools. So they only charged me labor but paid to be in the same situation. If you cant fix the problem dont advertise that you fix those problems. read more
