Wanted a peach smoothie. Stood at the register looking at the two workers for about 2 minutes before the man finally walked up, looked at the cookies on the left of me. Then walked by and looked at the ones of the right of me. Then finally turned around and put his back to me and said "what you want?".
I politely asked for a Peach smoothie (can't remember the fancy name of it) to which he turned around at looked at the girl in the back and repeated my order.
She then said something snarky back to him, to which I did not understand, but he was visibly annoyed by this and walked over to a counter and began making my smoothie.
Once he had completed it, he slowly walked back over to the register, mumbling to himself. He wrong it up, and wrong it up as a cookie instead, then as I got ready to pay he yelled woah! What the heck! You didn't get that! And got at me as if I had rang up a cookie instead of the smoothie. When he fixed it, he charged me $9.87 for a smoothie. (To be fair no prices or sizes were listed, but this seems very excessive).
To call it a smoothie would be a travesty. This thing was no more than crushed up ice, with some blended fruit and orange juice poured over it. The straw was very small, and I could not get it to come through the straw because of the big ice and fruit chunks. Just like an icy, the "flavor" was all gone with just a few sips, as all I could get through the straw was orange juice and some fruit leaving just a cup of ice of some fruit bits on top.
I'm not sure if this was an off day or what, but northern worker acted like they wanted to be there or care about the customers. read more
