The ono mikomiko cookies are some of the best cookies I've had. Also got carrot cake, cheesecake, pb cookies, snicker doodles, and chess bars (it was my birthday and I have no regrets on living my life this way). Carrot cake could've been spicier for my tastes but the icing was A+. My favorite choices are their jumbo strawberry cupcakes with strawberry icing and the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. Their iced butter cookies are amazing as well. You can get 2 jumbo cupcakes for $5- a real steal for such deliciousness! The strawberry cupcakes have pieces of strawberries in both the cake AND icing and the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter icing is like eating a Reese's peanut butter cake. Mouthwatering!!! Don't pass up their chess bars which are really delicious. It may not be something you would necessarily consider initially but after you try one, it will become one of your regular selections. We ordered a cake online since we were coming in from out of town, process was easy and prices were reasonable. They really missed the mark the moment I walked in the door, they had 4 people behind the counter and not one person greeted me, it was very awkward. No hidden fees or anything, and they didn't constantly try to upsell us. I had a coordinator so I don't know whether or not the cake was delivered on time or had any issues, but all I know is that I walked into my reception and the cake was beautiful! We had flowers to arrange between the layers and ribbon to wrap around each layer as well, so since I wasn't 100% positive what the finished product would look like, I was trusting their vision and expertise. Oh my God! I gave Piece of Cake another try again several years later after not liking their cupcakes' frosting in 2013-their frosting, greatly improved. Moreover, their cheesecake! Holy heck! It is the creamiest thing I've ever tasted. I pride myself on making a mean cheesecake (I love to bake) and also being a bit of a cheesecake connoisseur I will try a cheesecake anywhere out of curiosity and this is the best I've ever had ANYWHERE hands down! Customer service to the max! They saved the day when my nephew's wedding cake was accidentally dropped the day before the wedding . A family member called to see if they had at least a model cake we could display at the reception. I went to the bakery on Monday (the next business day and after 2 days) and request my refund and was notified 2 days later that my refund wasn't done until Wednesday. I ordered my daughter's first birthday cake from here 2 weeks ago. Just walked into the bakery without an appointment and we were immediately helped. We discussed the cake and what ideas I had in mind. I showed them a few pictures I had saved on my phone. They took good notes and made a sketch of the cake, and asked me to email those pictures. I have ordered custom cakes before from other places and I knew not to expect exactly what I had imagined, but Piece of Cake did an amazing job and the cake was EXACTLY what I had asked. It was a Very Hungry Caterpillar theme and I wanted two tiers with a caterpillar on the bottom tier and the beautiful butterfly from the last page of the book on the top tier. I also wanted the green leaf with holes in it as a cake topper because my daughter loves that page and pokes the holes in the leaf when we read the book. I also wanted the colorful circles from the first page of the book to line the base of the tiers. They did such an amazing job, everyone was raving about how beautiful the cake was. The butterfly was a piece of art. Also, it was all buttercream as we asked for no fondant (My husband doesn't like fondant). The cake was delicious and moist Excellent job.
