It could be a gel glaze but they just use less of it. I don't know. Maybe it's a different kind of gel? But this strawberry pie is the ONLY kind I can eat. For reals. I literally hate every other kind I've had so far, besides the ones I had when I was young. I also pride myself on making a mean apple pie. My grandma is an old school woman and when I was young, reeally little, she taught me how to make one without measuring spoons or cups or anything. I've had a lot of people tell me I make the best apple pie they've ever tasted. Well, I've been beat. And I do not admit defeat often.
