Since coming to the Camden area around 4 months ago, I've had my hair cut on 2 occasions and both times were at Great Clips, Sandlick. Tara has cut my hair on both instances and I have zero complaints. Laid back atmosphere in a pretty quiet venue. read more

Badly treated ass i walked in,they said there where full and was not taken anymore new customers.

For years we have been coming to GC and for the last couple of years we have used the app to sign in without a glitch. Today we were skipped twice and bummed down at the app. by the staff. On the second bump with only 5 min to be seen the attendant who had previously confirmed our reservation went on a break came back after 5 min and didsomething in the computer to bump us down. Pro's I enjoy the fact that you can check in online so you don't need to wait. The workers are very friendly, and welcome you as soon as you walk in. If you are consistent with the way you like your hair cut, perfect! The price of $14.00 is spot on. Con's I don't always get the same hairdresser. Some who I have really liked have left to go elsewhere. I wish they would post their schedules online as their work times are always changing. read more

It was just a normal day. My hair was getting longer, I had an upcoming job interview, and I needed to look sharp. I needed to look great, and I thought, "What better place to make me look great than Great Clips?" Little did I know, this ambitious belief in such a Hair Salon was foolish. I walked into Great Clips and it immediately took a turn for the worse... As I opened the door, I saw one employee behind the counter. The other three employees were smoking cigarettes with the back door open. I used to smoke, I understand. I ignored it and greeted the first employee. I gave her my name and all of the details and she said they would be with me shortly. "Okay, this won't be too bad", I thought. After waiting for five minutes (in a customer-less building) I was finally called to get my hair cut. The three rhinoceroses threw their cigarettes out, didn't wash their hands, and greeted me. Hello rhinos. Luckily I didn't get the stylist with pink hair, I'm eternally grateful for this. However, I got the sassy employee who never fulfilled her dreams in stand up comedy. In fact, all of these women acted as if they had missed out on their comedic dreams. While the sassy woman cut my hair, she kept stopping to chime in to the other rhinos' conversations. It went something like this, "Ooh girl, I saw Jessica the other day and she looked TERRIBLE. She's so pale and she dyed her hair bright blonde, she looks like a ghost! (hysterical laughter)" Then my barber used her ability to speak by saying, "Oh my God! That ain't nothing girl, back where I worked I would see the craziest hair styles!" These types of conversations did not stop. I could handle the lame humor, I chuckled to be polite and hit them with a smile every now and then hoping it would cease at some point. It didn't. Oh well, maybe I'll get a decent hair cut. Wrong. If you could file sexual assault for a haircut- THIS would be the first case. What I'm trying to say is that this woman raped the hair on my head, and on my eyebrows with her scissors. I do not look professional, unless perhaps my career is a clown. I cannot stress the annoyance, unprofessionalism, and mundane quality that these hair stylists possessed in their work. I guess the bright side is that she finished my hair cut in about 5 minutes...But if you could see what I looked like you would understand why. I implore anyone considering this place to reconsider.
