They have MAYBE one or two ladies who can do a quality haircut. We always use great clips as a last result anyways, but Everytime we have gone to this location his haircuts are AWFUL. I watched 3 or 4 men walk out of there with the worst fades I have ever seen. The only lady who has done a wonderful job there is Becky. His hair looks awful and it's a waste of money. read more

OK so I got my haircut here and also my sons haircut and we both got it done by jay and may I just sayShe is absolutely amazing she is a store manager and she cut my hair she trimmed off 3 inches and layered it up and made it look so amazing and she also did my sons haircut which I was very skeptical to get because my son has autism and when it comes to cutting his hair it's very hard but she as well has a child with special needs and she was very patient and super sweet to my son and it only took her 15 minutes to Finished my sons haircuts because she was patient with him and gave him little breaks to breathe because he was slightly overstimulated because he was two years old and she was totally understanding and did an amazing job her work is strongly advised for anyone out there who has kids with special needs that need a little more time when it comes to haircuts for first times or even returning I would extremely recommend jh she did fabulous read more

Generally, I go to a very nice, fancy salon but I was in such a desperate need for a cut and when you have small children, it's hard to plan anything. I needed to be free of my mom bun. I was tired of looking tired and my kids pulling my hair. My long hair was just becoming too hard to maintain and I rarely ever got the chance to dazzle it up anymore. I was definitely apprehensive about making such a big change especially when I couldn't get in to see my normal stylist. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Becca. I had my 1 year old with me so I was really afraid that it was going to be a disaster. I showed her a few pictures of the style I wanted and she went to chopping. Like I said, I was pretty nervous. Everything went so smoothly. It only took her about 15 minutes so my little one didn't get upset. Once I got home and styled it, I loved it. Went for a simple trimming for my ends and this is what I leave with botched uneven hair. The lady who cut my hair took no time at all to make sure she was cutting my hair accurately. She literally took like 5 minutes and sent me on my way instead of properly checking her cutting. I'm highly disappointed that she was okay with allowing me to leave the salon with my hair like this. This is your work on my head so you would want all your clients hair to look good that way people would want to come back. I guess it's not the worst place, but not the greatest either. Perhaps, it's not even a good place. It all depends on who's available to cut your hair when you get there. I suppose unless you have someone you really like and that person is available when you want your hair done, you will not be satisfied. Even then, you may not be totally happy with the result..... My spouse just had a trim done, but she found out the last haircut she had was unusually very uneven. The stylist she had today said that it was very strange cut. Oh well, it was a good thing that she wasn't going to get a total hairstyle change...it was just a trim... Those who are working here seemed to be friendly enough. I have moved to Clarksville in August of this year, after going to several salons and paying higher prices and not have the stylist listen to me, I decided to walk in Great Clips. Jennifer was my stylist and she listened and took time with me and knew exactly what cut I wanted. Not the worst location that I went to. One of the more friendlier ones. I specifically got my haircut from Linda. She was really kind and knowledgeable. She told me ahead of time how she should go about cutting my hair. I got exactly what I asked for. The reason I'm giving a 4 is because I have only been to this location 3 times, including today. I can't speak on consistency on the haircut qualities on this specific location. Definitely better than the one near publix on tiny town. read more

Usually my go-to for a haircut here. It's really busy, particularly with a lot of kids. Depending on when you go it can be a long wait, around an hour or you might be able to walk right in. I have an easy haircut-about 15 minutes with clippers so I can't say for sure how good the barbers are. read more

Went here for the last time. Always go here out of convenience even though they butcher my hair half the time. I'm just going to stick to eagle cuts. These people at great clips have either not cut half the hair on the top of my head, round out one side on the back of my head and square out the other, make it one big diagonal line on my back neckline, or just not fade my hair AT ALL. Just goes directly from being cut to a 2, to being 2 inches long. Every time I go, there's an old guy who gets his haircut for a good 30 minutes, meanwhile, my haircut takes them 2 minutes and it's butchered. I left an 8 dollar tip my last haircut and it was absolutely horrible! Sadly I didn't realize until I got home just how bad it was. Can't do it anymore. Worst place to get a haircut. read more

While the haircuts were good, the service wasn't. I used the online checkin option for my kids and I and when I showed up I told them who I was. The next time they called out names they called names before me, then skipped my name and went further down the list. When I pointed this out they grabbed my son first, without consulting me as to the order I preferred. Then, while I was the next in line based on what just occurred some other person walked in and yet again I get skipped. This was my 2nd visit. The 1st time was ok but this time was TERRIBLE. I REALLY don't think the lady that cut my son's hair a few minutes ago has experience cutting black people's hair. If she had told me that,I PROMISE I wouldn't HAVE been offended or whatever. She just proceeded to give him the worst hair cut he's had in his 17 yrs of life!! Took both of my boys here and they both got BUTCHERED! My oldest boy told her he wanted his hair to look like mine, I cut my own hair with a #2 at the shortest on the side and usually #5 or #6 on top (about 1/2 inch long), she kept messing up the fade and by the time she fixed it, he was bald!! nothing but skin on the side and a #1 on the top, WOW!! This is a military town and you can't handle a medium fade!? She didn't even apologize, she just kept saying it will be nice with it being so hot outside. My youngest just turned 3 and this was his first haircut, it was down a couple inches past his shoulders. They don't listen to anything you say when you tell them what you want done, all we wanted was to shorten the back to match the top and sides so it would still be long, she took about 6 inches off the back and 2 inches all the way around the rest, now the back is about 1 inch and the rest is about 3, my wife has been crying all night because it looks so bad!! read more

After 9 and a half months in the deserts of Egypt, spending $2 on a haircut, and getting some of the best service of my life. I am very displeased with the service I received from Great Clips. I requested a medium fade with light trimming on top, but what I got was a shoddy attempt. After having to make multiple corrections to the stylist, I eventually gave up all hope. As I write this I am seriously contemplating shaving my head completely. I spent $11.99 on a shoddy hack job, I will not be back! The price is too high and the level of skill accompanying the stylists is that of a untrained ape. I would rather deploy back to Egypt for 9 months and pay a lot less for a more quality haircut!!! Don't go here if you are a women. Really. Don't do it. ALL I wanted was a trim....and my ONE request was to not have it cut straight across because I had layers. What does this women do? Cuts it straight across to the shortest length I allowed her leaving NO room for her to fix it....I even showed her a picture of me with a shorter hair length (same style) and she says "That girl doesn't even look like you..." and says she can't do that style.....What?? The picture was from maybe 5 months earlier. Same hair color and everything. After she botched off my hair I told her AGAIN I didn't want it that straight across. She had already walked away without a care?? So when she came back she quickly swooped some more hair off, took off the cover and walked away without asking me if I even liked it....wtf. She then gave me an attitude and tried charging me full price after I had just asked about the military discount. Which she begrudgingly complied with their policy and eventually gave me. Maybe she should stick to business school (because it's apparently so easy) because she is NOT a good hairstylist. Or person. Will never come back here. Shouldn't have even paid!!!!! read more
