When I walked into the salon and saw the decor and the enormous Christmas tree he designed and decorated himself, I knew I was in the right place and in good hands. He puts all of his creativity and energy into creating the perfect look. He was born to do this! It takes 1-2 months to get an appointment with Carlos himself, but it is well worth the wait. The other hairdressers in the salon appeared to be doing a wonderful job on their clients, as well. I have A LOT of hair, but he managed to do all-over highlights and lowlights with foils, cut, dry, and style my hair in 2 hours. Other stylists have taken 4-5 hours in the past for a less than satisfactory job. As long as I am fortunate enough to have him here in Johnson City, I will NEVER go to another salon for my hair. He is the shit. And I think his price is VERY reasonable for the level of service I received. My advice: make an appointment now, be patient and think about what you want your hair to look like, and then go to him and trust in him. If he makes suggestions, listen to him. I kept my hair short and didn't need a stylist of her caliber until recently when Wifey asked me to grow my hair out. So, I did but I didn't know what to do with it and it grew in unexpectedly curly!
