In my first review I raved about this salon because of the quality of our cuts and then we had a not so good experience but knowing the owner cares and guarantees to prevent this from happening to anyone else and apologized and gave us our money back and offered to fix it means that she does truly care about her clients. Originally I recommended this business but unfortunately after our last experience I will no longer recommend this business. My daughter 12 yrs old and her daddy went and had her cut there and my daughter came home crying because the woman who cut her hair absolutely butchered her hair. It was awful. I immediately reached out to the owner and said hey my daughter's hair looks terrible can we work to fix this, the owner never responded. I emailed and texted her. I know people will say your daughter should have said something while there well she is 12 and she didn't want to hurt the ladies feelings and didn't want her to get mad. I've reached out to the owner multiple times with no response. I ended up taking my daughter literally the next day to a different shop and we all stood in shock at the butchered cut The mane brand hair did on my daughter's hair. I visited this salon for hair color and an eyebrow wax. My appointment lasted over four hours, and before leaving I was happy enough with my hair to thank my stylist and leave a generous tip of over 20%. The next morning, when I looked in the mirror, I realized my eyebrows had been waxed far too thin, and a significant portion of my right eyebrow had been removed. I contacted my stylist, who later acknowledged that she had taken too much off and offered a $15 refund for the eyebrow wax. Unfortunately, the mistake ended up costing me much more than that. I had a wedding that weekend and had to purchase eyebrow growth serum, eyebrow makeup products, and ultimately pay for microblading in an attempt to correct the problem. I then contacted the salon owner, hoping the salon would stand behind the service provided there. I was told that the stylist was an independent contractor and that I would have to resolve the matter directly with her. After my bank dispute was denied, I reached out one final time, explained the additional expenses I had incurred, offered to provide receipts, and requested a refund for the original service. Instead of working toward a resolution, I was accused of trying to extort the stylist. I was also told that if I shared my experience publicly, she would post a video of me leaving the salon happy and tipping well. For me, that video simply reflects what actually happened--I didn't discover the eyebrow issue until the following morning. I'm sharing this because I believe customer service is measured not by whether mistakes happen, but by how they're handled afterward. In my experience, there was no meaningful effort to make things right. Everyone can decide for themselves where they choose to spend their money. I simply wanted others to know about my experience.
