I am a senior citizen and a USN veteran. I've been going to this place for years and have never had such a negative experience as today, and I will not return to this business until it is managed by a thinking person. I walked into Eden Great Clips at 12:45pm and was told by a haircutter and ex-student of mine that it would be about an hour wait. I asked to be put on their list and that I would be back in less than an hour, and returned TEN MINUTES BEFORE I was told I could be seen. I am not taking issue with the polite young lady I spoke to first - rather, with the rude manager who told me I'd been knocked off the list and then let 3 people, who walked-in after me, get their hair cut first. I walked out when the same woman called a 4th person ahead of me. If Eden NC had an effective Chamber of Commerce, the bar would be higher and such self-destructive 'management' might not happen so often. read more

My 4 year old grandson always throws a fit when getting a haircut, but the young lady, Krista, who cut his hair was amazing!!! He didn't fuss at all, and she knew exactly how to respond when he would get a little nervous. It was our best experience getting his hair cut! Waited 30 minutes at home because they advertise online check in. came in and still waited over 30 minutes before the called our name.

Went in today 11/10/25. Not a good experience and should have known better, if your workers don't speak good english, they don't understand good English. Told lady just wanted head shaved under long hair and beard just trimmed instead I got an electric razor down the side of my face with no guard. And charge $35 read more

For my birthday, I decided to get my haircut here. The shop was pretty empty. I asked for a shampoo, cut, and blowdry. The woman sprayed my head, chopped around, and blowdryed all in about 5 minutes. There were knots in the back bottom of my hair as she blowdryed it. For some reason (second chances), I mentioned that I had layers which are about 3" difference throughout my head, so she picked up a few random spots and sliced them on an angle. She didn't even part my hair or hold the sides under my chin throught the whole maybe 10 minute experience. I do not feel like I got a haircut at all, but when I got home and saw that it was uneven and clearly choppy...I was VERY upset! Did this woman cut my hair poorly on purpose or is she just that poor of a stylist? I'm sure there are good stylists in Great Clips, possibly darn good. I wont be back to find out. read more

You honestly get what you paid for and $12 for getting my ends cut, I can't complain with the quality and how it looks. The only thing I enjoyed is the worker Stacy and her being a fairly easy person to talk to, however, the way my hair was cut, it's unlikely I'll be here again. My hair simply doesn't look how it would look if I went to where I usually went. You get what you pay for. read more

My boyfriend received a horrible experience with getting a haircut today. The great clips employee had an unwelcoming and irriated tone with him. She was yelling at him to keep his head straight and about the hair product he uses. Before the haircut started, she said with an attitude how much do you want cut off. When he could not give her an exactly amount to cut, she became more irritated. She was just overwhelming rude and does not know how to treat a consumer with respect and hospitality. Overall, he was not statisifed with the haircut and we will not be going back there. read more

My first cut at the Danville VA shop was ok but the second cut wasn't done as well. Should have stopped there! My third and my last cut was horrible. The left side is short and even. The right side is a disaster!! Going to a better shop to try to save what I can. read more

I got my haircut on Feb 1St 2018 I was back by the 3rd because what had been the shortest side of my hair going back was now the longest. On the first visit I asked the stylist not to spray my very curly uneven hair with water which she did anyway. Now the side that was longer is now way shorterthan the other side. I can no longer wear a ponytail so I am stuck looking crazy. I am very unhappy with the results I had a coupon for $6.99 and it wasn't even worth that. Now to fix this mistake I will have to get more hair cut and it's already short! Please don't do this to yourself it's not worth it :( read more
