DO NOT GO HERE. I am just getting home at 9:55pm because of this salon. I came in accompanied by a friend, was greeted (if you can call it that) with a "did you sign in online?" and told that there was a wait & to come back when I get a text. At 5:07 (40 minutes later) I received a text & came back at 5:17 (the text said to return within 15 mins). I waited another 10 minutes until my name was called by a woman with a scowl on her face & followed with "last chair on the right". I came to get my hair washed, cut, & styled. She told me (AFTER THE ONE HOUR WAIT) that they could not provide this service because there were only two of them. There were only two when we first came in, mind you. Why not ask upon arrival what service I was there for to eliminate wait time for others as well as myself? This put behind all my errands as I searched for another salon a hour before most closed. JC Penney quickly worked me in after hearing about my experience plus my need for it done before tomorrow. She did a FABULOUS job along with free samples. I'm now home two hours later than expected all due to their lack of care for clients... By the way- I WAS INFORMED OF WHY I WAS TURNED DOWN... all stylists are required to cut your hair in less than 20 minutes!!! THERE IS NO GENUINE CARE OR THOUGHT GOING INTO YOUR HAIRCUT. I am so thankful this happened so that I was able to find this out & make others aware. read more

I was visiting family and stopped in to the Great Clips on Skibo Road in Fayetteville NC to get a trim. While I was waiting I overheard a woman claiming to be the manager, slandering and talking bad about her employees. I left because of the verbal abuse that seems to be permitted and allowed, I can't believe this is what is considered appropriate behavior in this company. I'm a fan of Great Clips because it's a great place for GUYS to get a quick, professional trim. I see a lot of the negative reviews are from women, but it's called Great CLIPS, not Great color my hair and get all fancy. I don't really see a lot of dyes and equipment to do all that for women, so I'd suggest women go to another salon. This place gets very busy at times, but I love the Great Clip app. It shows you the wait time at each location and you can check in on the app before even leaving your residence if it's a long wait time. They told me your check-in on the app is good for about 30 minutes after your due time. A standard male haircut is $13, but for military it's $3 off, so $10 for military. When you go there for the first time, they put your haircut information into the computer so you don't have to remember if you like a 3, 4 etc. on the sides or on top or whatever. It's also very clean and located next to a few eateries you can enjoy before or after. read more

I came there to donate my hair and ask for a pixie cut. The hair stylist looked happy to cut my hair. She also mentioned that if I donate 12 inches to Wigs for Kids, my haircut was free. Fayetteville, NC 28301 for some time now and it's always a hassle.. the online check in APP said 41 minute wait and i have been here for over two hours now! Every time I come there's always new barbers and almost never the same faces.. do y'all not develop and retain your employees?? Got the worst haircut of my life here! If there was a minus they'd get it. I asked the gal who cut my hair yesterday if it was even because the right side looked more than an inch shorter in 2 spots and uneven but she said yes. I though I'd go home and wash it and see if it was they way it was sitting but no! The right side is inches shorter and in a bizarre way. I came in today and the same gal was here and she kept saying that was how the notes said to cut it and I reminded her I thought it was uneven yesterday and she lied and said it was. She put crap in it to try and hide the difference and took some off the left side-which was how it was supposed to be. What a horrible experience! Lied to my face that she thought it was okay! I said cute 2 inches off one side of your hair and then look me in the eyes and see how you want to go on a vacation cruise or even around town! read more

Worst cut if my life and uneven in every way. I wanted a pixie cut and little shorter in back. Used clippers and months later still a man cut. They tried to fix but no fix. The place is clean and the location is very convenient. My haircut came out exactly as I requested (which for some reason is difficult in Fayetteville). The only gripe I had is the polygraph interview they require before receiving your first haircut. They asked so many personal questions for their "customer database" that I was surprised they didn't ask for my blood type. I really like going there, they start to know you by name and try hard to please the customer. I like to look at people who just got a hair cut walking out to see if it looks jacked up, only once have I seen something scary walk out of there. I will continue to bring them my business. read more

I am only giving them one star is because they give a decent hair cut! The service is terrible! I checked in online and it said it had a 45 minute wait! I went to the store 20 minutes later and they said it would be 17 minutes! I was happy but 15 minutes later two men came in and asked how long the wait was and they told them 30 minutes! I was still happy because I thought I only have a few more minutes! Well after that the next person was up and they called a lady next to me, I was fine with this because she was there before me! But when she finished they called the two men next to me! (60 minutes after they told me 15 minutes) I said something and they said that he was there before me! False!!!! She just happened to flirt with him the whole time! I wonder why I was skipped!! Needless say I waited 76 minutes since I checked in! Great clips your online check-in is crap!
